Is the US, UK and France have dipped their fingers into their oil honeypot, and are now fisting it vigorously. Seriously, all the people who think we should bomb ISIS... We never will. Capitalists don't bite the hand that feeds them.

We should bring down the bankers and moneyed classes, since they are the ones protecting ISIS.

A land invasion of Syria and Iraq would only further destabilize the region. Syria is a close ally of Russia, to attack ISIS on Syrian territory would sky rocket the tensions between the US and Russia. Simply put it, an invasion would be too costly, too risky and too unpopular for any Western country to willingly I
engage in.

Plus the US and allies want the Assad regime removed as quickly as possible. In a lot of ways, he is the bigger threat than ISIS. Until we can weaken Assad's forces and establish a stronger rebel presence, it is in our best interests to have ISIS fight the Assad regimes forces... for now at least. We will help our own allies in the region fight ISIS (mainly with airstrikes), but eliminating the group to quickly will leave another power gap that only Assad is capable of filling right now, something that will make him stronger and more difficult to remove as a result. This is why, despite the rhetoric, the US won't do much against ISIS for the time being.

The only reason ISIS is still around is because we and other countries have interfered in their doings. We should not (to quote Obama from the State of the Union speech) be the policemen of the world. Let them deal with their own problems in the first place. If we had done so, I don't think ISIS would have existed as they are now.

The higher you manage to climb up the pyramid of wealth the more impotant it becomes to see the status quo maintained. If you are born in a rich country you have a head start. The higher you get the more power you can exert to maintain status quo

The US is there to pretend to the US voters that they care about security. Period. Another way to buy votes using military dollars.

Not really, if Assad comes down then Syria will turn into a failed state [like Libya], and pretty much a free roaming ground for terrorists. There's no way the rebels will be able to maintain control of anything, because there are simply too many factions of rebels. Everyone talks about the rebels as if they were one force, when really there's a lot of different groups.

Your right, hence why I said, "and establish a stronger rebel presence" in my original statement. Syria only becomes a failed state if no force is currently capable of filling the power gap, which leads to mass infighting. None of this however disputes my original analysis. The US does want Assad removed and his regime is worse than ISIS in a lot of ways. We don't want to fight ISIS until we are pretty sure we can deal with Assad as well, and we can't deal with Assad until the rebels become stronger and more unified.
