Lmao, watch him win the presidency and then laugh as soon as the U.K comes crawling back for military support or other nonsense. This is all just dumb and giving him more publicity. An article I read did have a good point though:

"The unconventional debate is unlikely to result in any practical move by Parliament. No vote will be held at the end of the debate, and politicians are expected to treat it more as an opportunity to air their views on the divisive Republican under the protection of parliamentary privilege, which legally shields them from accusations of defamation or slander."

They just want to have a $hit-talking session without any fear of repercussions.

I'm not a fan of Trump, but I find it ironic that they can ban someone from their country because "hey you can't ban people from your country..."

If Trump's platform is really so obviously flawed and dangerous, then why is it necessary to ban him from entering the country? Are they suggesting that their citizens can't be trusted to reject his message? If they so, how can they be trusted to elect their politicians - that is, put into office the very people debating this? British people who like Trump will like him regardless of whether he is allowed to come to the UK. There's very little to gain by banning him, and much to lose, namely the principle of free speech. Trump is not saying anything that lots of British people don't already believe. It's not new or revolutionary. For Christ's sake, he has like ten ideas.

A lot of people in the UK are thinking just like Trump and are tired of being second to immigrants.

I find it interesting that the Quran teaches full blown hate speech and intollerance of "unbelievers", but if a nonMuslim guy says something not nearly half as discriminatory as Islamic ideology, he needs boycotted...

Forcing women to completely cover up and have sex with their husbands if even against their will is to be ignored and tollerated, but Trump proposes a theoretical temporary ban on a group, and he is villified.

Sharia Law poses the death penalty on homosexuals and forces women to cover up and be submissive to men, and Liberals are tolerant of Islam why again? If Conservatives proposed that we keep women in their place and show any sense of antihomosexual rhetoric, there is an uproar. Where are the Liberals on this issue flaring their fists towards an obviously full fledged homophobic and sexist belief system? I'm confused.

They should debate expelling all the Muslims they keep importing.

That's one of the things that just irritates me about the common analysis of Trumps popularity (and there are many) .... Stop appealing to a silent majority that doesn't exist, unexpressed feelings of assent that aren't there. It doesn't make his position more legitimate, and the base of people who oppose his ideas is just as large if not larger.

It's like raising yours arms and gesticulating aggressively to convince a bear that you're bigger or scarier than you actually are.

UK still has a token Queen. It's not like they have a long history of living free of fiat rule.

To be fair, at the moment that Queen is more of a tourist attraction than anything else.

I know the Queen is a money making industry for the UK. It's just that the UK people don't have the aversion to fiat rule like USA has.

How true. What are these politically correct fools going to do if Trump becomes President? They'll fall at his feet as the British have been doing for decades.

What percentage of world Muslims think it's inappropriate to say Death to America?

That would be better <333 these days you need to make 3 ludicrous claims in the same post for it to be made clear that it is trolling, otherwise even fellow trolls may fail to detect that it is trolling

I mean in all seriousness....how could you possibly not get "secret agenda"....it's not like I am a confirmed Alex Jones follower, like some other users on this site....
