This is about who you think will win and why, not why such candidate is better or worse. No ridiculing someone for supporting a candidate, or for their political views.

I predict that the winner of the Republican Caucus will be Ted Cruz, because Ted Cruz will turn out the evangelical vote, and I suspect that there will be those who come intending to vote for Bush or Huckabee or Santorum will wind up strategically voting for Cruz in order to stop Trump from winning.
On the Democratic side, I predict Bernie Sanders will win, mostly because from what I observed in Iowa while I was canvassing over the weekend, the Bernie Supporters are more passionate in their support, and therefore more likley to show up. Also I think O'Malley supporters will be more drawn to Bernie than Hillary and will likley put Bernie over the edge.

I heard Marco Rubio was sending his supporters to Trump to strategically knock Cruz out of the race early on.

Cruz will be the scary monster that makes Trump look good.

I did see it on facebook, so it's not the most reliable source.

I don't disagree with that. Neither will get the nomination, but I have NO doubt that Cruz will be dropping like a rock soon enough.

It is really wait and see time. I posted my horse racing thread, and the theme is, the race is going. No more bets, just have to watch and wait.

I still think Jeb wins the nomination. This might be the perfect time to get good odds on that bet

In direct reply to the question I will say, we have to just wait and see.

Sanders needs to turn out a lot of new support, that is incredibly tough in a caucus. However, counting on "new blood" entering is better than hoping for the old to just make it out in the snow.

The party decides, history has shown the person with the most insider support wins. Give me ten to one odds and I bet ten.

Rubio is an acceptable establishment candidate too, though. I thought Bush for sure until Rubio passed him.

You know... I have done some friendly bets on this site, none including cash. It might be a very bad thing for the site to facilitate this sort of thing. Rather than cash, I have no idea where you live, but I will put "gift" card at a restaurant of your choice if you win. OK?
