Despite placing 5th in Iowa at about 4%, ahead of mega-moneybags Jeb Bush, Paul is ending his campaign it seems after seeing the writing on the wall. He also has to worry about his senate seat in Kentucky which is also up for re-election in 2016, giving him more incentive to drop out rather than ride out a presidential run to its bitter end

Paul is out, Huckabee is out, and O'Malley is out all from Iowa, who do you think will be the next one to go? My money is on Carly

Ill go with Carly too. Have no idea how she could stay in.

I have to say I am sorry to see Paul go. Its not like I have ever liked the guy, but he was a symbol of sanity over in that camp.

Pretty sure Santorum will be out before Sanders. As will Carson. Sanders is staying in until at least Ohio.

Yeah, well, they don't much like sanity nowadays. I do hope Trump and Cruz finally force the realignment and reformation of the Republican Party. It's so long overdue.

I never cared for Paul either, his entire legacy is built on being the son of Ron Paul, nothing more. He may have looked like the sane one, but being able to count to double digits would qualify as being the symbol of sanity at this point though :P

I think this was the best move for Mr. Paul. I was pulling for him for a bit in the start but he should endorse someone and realign his focus.

I can strongly agree with you on the fact he was piggy-backing off of his dad. He had some differences in views.

This is great news for Ted Cruz who was endorsed by Ron Paul in 2012. He'll pick up the votes!

Too bad, he was literally the only good candidate the GOP had. Hopefully he'll run again, but he wasn't polling too well in the first place.

I'm quite surprised with the election in 2016, the US seems to be taking a turn for the worse with where the GOP candidates are currently heading. Ted Cruz, an extremely right-wing nutcase has gained more support than Kasich or Paul. The election on the democrat side isn't any better too, Martin O'Malley and Jim Webb were people I actually didn't mind. Instead we have Hillary and the socialist.

At least Kasich is still in...

Have Kasich and Paul spoken about Citizens United? Have they talked about income inequality? Healthcare? Prescription drugs? Student loan debt?
