Why do people put an exclamation mark after his name? Is there some sort of joke I am missing out on?

"Jeb!" was his actual campaign slogan for the first half of the campaign when he first declared to be running. His team then decided to change it after realizing that it sucked and he began sliding down the polls when Trump entered the picture

Why is Jeb Bush still in the race? Because the Bush family believes in the "No child left behind" policy.
Beware of the people who are in your circle but are not in your corner.

And with the stroke of a pen people 18 to 21 who own a gun became criminals and public enemy #1 having committed no crime and having said nothing. Just like the Jews in Germany during WW2. Must be a weird feeling.

When I hear people crying and whining about their first world problems I think about the universe with everything in it and people in wheelchairs and all of their problems go away.

The initial campaign strategy was to distance him from his last name. It was yet another stupid gimmicky ploy the Establishment Republicans tried and failed to do. He has since realized that that was an idiotic thing to do, and now he's cloaking himself in his family in a weird "Hey everybody! Look how much of a mamma's boy I am!" kind of way.

The original idea was to replace Jeb's last name with something else. That plan didn't work , so now they are associating Jeb with his family.
I can't understand why they would do that. His brother seemed to be trying to insure his place in history as America's worst president.

Nah. He was a pretty good president, all things considered, and downright brilliant after 9/11

There is a phenomenon known as B.D.S. - Bush Derangement Syndrome, and now Trump has either caught it or is pandering to it. Bush knew WMDs were a lie and went to war based on a lie? That's tin hat stuff, when you get down to it.

This is the sheer brilliance of the 2010 Supreme Court to allow super PACs.

Ostensibly, the reasoning for the decision was "We judges shouldn't operate from a standpoint that the government is inherently crony and corrupt."

The public isn't stupid. They know a bought politician is a bad politician, and Jeb is going to go down in flames; whereas he might have not had all his exorbitant crony funding been done under the radar.

Jeb! is Jeb's logo. http://crooksandliars.com...

The joke is Jeb! is trying to avoid associating with his family name/brand, and he lacks the charisma of an exclamation mark so it's ironic.

Donald Trump buys jebbush.com! It seems Jeborah forgot to secure his domain name. In other news Donald Trump buys Great Wall of China and sells it to Mexico for twice what he paid for it and even included free delivery and set up.
