I think the UK should quit the eu for the following reasons.

1. Billions of pounds wasted annually in membership fees.

2. We are unable to control our own borders meaning the uk has no control over net migration.

3. The eu is heading in a direction of increased integration reducing our ability to govern ourselves.

4. The fact EU courts have the final say in judicial matters.

5. Wasteful inefficient payments given to wealthy landowners in return for doing nothing encouraging laziness and non productivity in the agricultural industry.

6. Stupid laws that hinder farmers such as IED tagging for sheep, environmental buffer zones around hedgerows and watercourses.

7. Money wasted on pointless environmental schemes that hinder agricultural production, encourage the conversion of farmland into scrubland and reward wealthy landowners for basically doing nothing and not maintaing their land while hindering hard tenant farmers who have to work round these absurd schemes to their financial detriment.

8. The uk has no influence in the eu. It is often forced into things by the eu parliament and eu law.

9. The restrictions on developing our own trade deals.

10. The beaurocratic shambles that is the eu parliament in Brussels.

11. The unwillingness of other European countries to allow the uk to change the conditions of its membership.

12. The eurozone is financial mess. The euro has been a failure. The UK needs to distance itself from it and avoid involvement in future bailouts.

13. The fact eu legislation occasionally prevents the uk deporting dangerous criminals.

14. Eu regulations hinder industry especially the pollution level standards.

15. The UK would be economically better off outside the eu.

16. The eu is effectively dragging wealth from its wealthier states such as France, Germany and the uk and shifting wealth to eastern European states through membership payments and the effects of eastern migration to the west. The continued eu drive for integration is dragging the uk down.

The referendum on leaving the eu is pencilled in for the 23rd of June. The polls show public opinion divided 50/50 on the issue. Now is our chance to leave this organization that has a parasitic effect on both our economy and our citizens and to stand tall in the world free to decide our own destiny.

The benefits of the UK staying in the EU are pretty much even with the costs. If they leave, some sectors of their economy will do better, others poorer. It really doesn't make a significant difference.

I think the UK and Germany should use their own weight to actually bring about political and economic reform in the Union. Right now its kind of a cluster f*ck.

Agree the eu is a shambles. We should leave. The eu is a beaurocratic shambles with a huge level of debt, low levels of growth and a currency in a state of crisis. It is an economic parasite on the uk and we should leave.

So ends the dream of global collectivism.

I side with Corbyn (and by extension the pig rapist PM unfortunately). We should stay in the EU.
