For the first time in 3 years, Obama's net approval rating [http://elections.huffingtonpost.com...] is now higher than his net disapproval rating, and continues to trend upward.

Thoughts? Reactions? How might this impact the election in November?

He will find a way to get back in the low 40's. Don't underestimate the man.
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations.

Nah. Obama's cool. I don't see this trend reversing significantly before November.

Huff post is not the one conducting the surveys and polls. It pulls them from groups like Gallup, ABC, CNN, Reuters, Rasmussen, The Wall Street Journal, and *gasp* even Fox. All Huff post does itself is aggregate the data and chart it.

I'm guessing it has some to do with the fiasco that is the election cycle. People looking back at him like, "You know, compared to this--maybe he wasn't that bad."

It's not better than it is because The Economist has the most outlying pollsters in history.

In my opinion, Obama gets far too much hate for the economy. He had to deal with the bulls*it, Bush brought to the country, so it wasn't easy. Now we have a 4.9% unemployment rate, and the economy is doing alright.

What bothers me the most about the criticism against him is that if Romney had won the election and the unemployment rate dropped as low as it has, they would impute it to the change of leadership.

You can criticize whatever you want about Obama, but you have to start by confronting this fact in an honest way. All it requires is a shred of integrity....

Well considering that the person replacing him is either going to be Hillary Clinton or Donald J. Trump I imagine he's looking pretty good right now in the minds of many people...

Foreign Policy on the other hand....

In some ways, Bush's foreign policy was better, minus invading Iraq.

The only people with a greater than 1% chance of replacing Obama:

A criminal who makes closed door speeches to wall street for more money than most voters will every see, a reality TV star, a socialist/communist septuagenarian, and the zodiac killer.

Repeal the 22nd amendment today.
