Does anyone really feel safer going through TSA?

I just watched a guy get carried out of a wheel chair so he could go through the scanner...

I feel like TSA is most valuable as police state simulation public education tool.

I think they failed to detect weapons and explosives 95% of the time in a study where undercover agents went through TSA and tried to avoid detection.

I'm 65% sure I overheard a pilot talking about that and the number is 97%

It's pretty pathetic.

So, TSA is ineffective 0.65 * 0.97 * 100 = 63.05% of time?
