Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz are slated to make appearances at the annual AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference. I believe they will all get speaking time.

https://twitter.com...

This will be interesting, since Trump has angered a lot of AIPAC lobbyists (he only tells the truth) with his comments on being a neutral party in any negotiations between Israel and Palestinians. Expect some Trump bashing from Clinton and Cruz, who will undoubtedly try to cozy up with the Israel lobby as the election is in full swing.

Well...should be interesting.

I honestly have no clue when Trump is speaking. Paul Ryan is speaking right now, and the original report had Trump slated for over an hour ago, but the live stream says "ahead: Donald Trump and Ted Cruz speak".

He's a very poor orator. He speaks too slowly, he's uses rhetorical devices suited for informal campaign speeches rather than a formal address. He's still referencing his poll numbers, still repeating "believe me" every few sentences or so, he doesn't enunciate very well. Oddly enough, in his effort to sound like a statesman his voice has become somewhat monotone.

What's more, the applause for him has been rather tepid. I suspect there's a good portion of that crowd that refuses to applaud anything that comes out of his mouth at this point.

Altogether, it's a D- speech.

The worst parts of these things on CNN is when they bring people from the campaigns to speak on a panel. They sound less sophisticated than the average voter.

It was polished and expertly delivered. I don't know what that last (presumably hebrew) exclamation meant, but it sounded well-placed.

Yeah, I wonder about that. I think some of them might just be nervous.

It's not nervousness - it's the blatant slander they deliver - such as the Cruz advisor saying Trump will betray our allies, and that there's no argument against that.

oh, for some reason I thought you were referring to random supporters they occasionally invite to speak. Yeah, I don't know what your issue is with the Cruz adviser, but there's not a single Trump supporter on CNN that ever speaks frankly about things he's said. How I tire of Katrina Pierson worming her way out of every Trump controversy. I don't see Paul Begala measuring his responses so as not to offend the Secretary. If she doesn't do something very well, he'll say so.
