Obama's aggregate job approval rating is now at its highest since, roughly, June 2010. [http://elections.huffingtonpost.com...] What impact might this have on the election? What factors might be leading to this upward swing for Obama? Other thoughts and reactions?

Wouldn't this be the highest since February 2013, not June 2010?
Why?

He's bearing the end of his term and is soon to be replaced by someone else. For Conservatives (his main group of critics), there is the fear that Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders will become President. They see Hillary Clinton as a morally bankrupt person and Sanders as a Marxist revolutionary. In comparison, Obama may be viewed as a decent guy and a family man as well as a moderate.

Now he just needs to break the 50% barrier.
