Do many of the citizens who voted for Donald Trump sometimes wonder if he is who he presents himself to be. Donald Trump, after all, could easily be just another manipulator delivering all the right buss words that conservatives and independent voters had long hoped would be uttered by a candidate for president, another person who could be another Ronald Reagan and restore American's pride in their country and their president once more.
But what if Donald trump turns out to be just mouthing those buss-words to gain the votes of the too eager to believe, and trusting, voters who perhaps had, until Donald Trump, had long given up on the idea that there would ever be another candidate running for the presidency, a person who believed in America and its citizens and what the country could be again. How sad and disappointing if Donald Trump is deceiving the people who have placed their trust in him and only a politician scamming them. Maybe this time for trump is just another instance in which Donald trump is just refining his skills and just another Deal to be finessed, should anyone be surprised if tis turns out to be the case, didn't Donald Trump writwe a book about his skills in carrying off deals.

It's very likely that he couldn't actually care less about whether he gets the presidency or not.
Publicizing his brand name to make more money seems to be his most probable goal. Think about it- he's already gotten a ludicrous amount of free advertising. What does he care if he ends up being elected or not?

How about you look at how much money he's lost and how many deals that he had have gone under and reassess your position?

If Donald Trump is Emblematic of failure and someone who hasn't been successful I think a lot of people would like to be a failure like you claim that Donald Trump is.

Donald Trump is like me and so many other real people who are fed up with political correctness and the lawless anarchy in Washington. What you see is what you get. There are no secretes.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If successful means never having to take risks and experiencing life in a vacuum while all your risks are taken care of by the government, then don't vote for Trump.

So basically he's another Obama.

Donald Trump, When people vote for a individual, and he wins office, they get warts and all. But the voters were willing to overlook the warts that came with Obama and his administration. Given that the voters were willing to take Obama warts and all, kmowing that he was a leftist ideologue, why then are so many now squeamish about Donald Trump becoming president

There's no difference between Trump and Obama other than rhetoric.

Let's put on our critical thinking caps here. I countered the position that he is running for President for financial gain. This is a joke as his stances that he's taken in the name of helping the people has caused him this RECENT financial loss. The pay of President is hardly comparable to what he was making with his business ventures and brand, and he has spent his own money on the campaign trail. He has tarnished his brand in his run for President. This isn't indicative of failure in his business practices but how he has not benefited financially from this Presidential election. Not sure why you are trying to say I'm claiming he's in a bad way.

He wants to control the government so he can use the government to rig the economy in his favor. He's willing to take a short-term loss for the chance of that.
