Wikileaks can no longer be accessed inside the USA.

Wikipedia writes:
Access to WikiLeaks is currently blocked in the United States Library of Congress.[104] On 3 December 2010 the White House Office of Management and Budget sent a memo forbidding all unauthorized federal government employees and contractors from accessing classified documents publicly available on WikiLeaks and other websites.[105]

They've also been doing other nonsense to my internets. http://torrent-finder.com...

Soon I'm going to have to get a russian proxy so for to sample their sweet freedom.

Anyways, this whole fiasco is absurd.

In one way it is good that truth is prevalent, but might pose a risk to diplomatic ties due to the high amounts of tensions around the world.

I know, Wikileaks predicted that.

He said the next one is about Wall St, and that it "could take down a bank or two." That'll be fun.

I doubt it. I mean consider all of the stuff he's released about the government, and nothing has happened (to the government). People are jaded, lazy and apathetic. They don't care. Not even the Tea Party. They won't care about the banks either. Viva la Revolución!

It's easy to point out the wrong with banning wikileaks, but how far are you willing to go with that notion? How much access should you and I be granted with government documents? I am for total disclosure of everything "public" in nature.

I think Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are the only ones.

Yeah how far? Locations and identities of protected people? Presidential nuclear weapons release codes? What about the plans for the weaponry?

A person I was having a discussion with made the point that disclosing of information doesn't necessarily mean we disclose specifications.

I wonder what Barbara Lee thinks about it.

I can't find.

She was the only member of congress to vote down the 2001 Presidential military order.

I love how this new measure prevents only United States citizens from knowing the truth about their government. Not foreigners.

How is this in anyway different than what China does?

All released leaks archived
2010-11-28

Due to recent attacks on our infrastructure, we've decided to make sure everyone can reach our content. As part of this process we're releasing archived copy of all files we ever released - that's almost 20,000 files. The archive linked here contains a torrent generated for each file and each directory.

That is so win.

I'm pretty it's mainly about the rape charges because Sweeden is the country that wants him.
