decrypt some of the secret WikiLeaks files that haven't yet been released.

If there is anyone that could do it on DDO, he could. Just look at what he did here in my debate with him: http://www.debate.org...

======
Puzzle 1
======

This message is written in code and must be deciphered.

Qeb mfb qexq tb xqb ixpq kfdeq xq qljp elrpb txp abifzflrp.

And then:

===========
Puzzle number 2
===========

4658 638 3 4356936.
2122 312 1 2422231.

59 935572 3 7945 6535: 6625 8644588.
22 213211 1 1321 1141: 1211 2211122.

548 6331 49 925384345 93 834589344597.
222 1142 23 331422121 25 212221112231.

He deciphered both of them perfectly, and I didn't make those to be easy, especially the second one. Of course, I could take a shot at it, but I'd rather not have the CIA showing up for a talk with me.

That would be interesting to see. If he does manage to do it, DDO will receive international fame!

I can see it now, 'Nerdy boy who spends his time debating cracks code to Wikileaks!'
I miss the old members.

Do you know what encrypting data entails...?

After staring at it for awhile, I think I have it the first part:

Nobody here can do it (especially not xxdarkxx). Not even close. Decrypting data from scratch is one of the most impossible things on earth to do.

Yes, I know what it entails.

This is in a spirit of light hearted fun.

Some of those files have a 256 digit encryption pass code on them. That's literally trillions of trillions of different possibilities many times over. Even the best supercomputers on Earth can't do it.

1000 cool points to the person that can find me someplace where I can get my hands on the "insurance.aes256" file off the wikileaks website mirror.

Come on Kleptin, we just need to figure out some way to combine all of our various computers into one supercomputer. "There are 22,709 Debate.org members." That should be enough.

In terms of DDO, I'm the demented old fart who used to participate well until I lost my marbles and now I just sort of hang around and yell at people.

Alright Freedo, Kleptin has gone AWOL. We're going to have to do this without him. We're going to need 10,000 computer shells, 500 roles of duct tape, 6 different tickets to Norway, and at least 10 fake mustaches.

Well, now we just need the computer shells and the tickets to Norway if we manage to decode it. I know, Brian can give us the tickets. Doesn't he work for a travel agency?
