The US Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has officially endorsed Donald Trump despite previous hostility towards him. It's questionable whether Ryan actually agrees with Trump on his issues, but could this mean that Trump is going to have a better chance at unifying the party, or at least working with Congress?

He's doing it because the large part of the Republican party, even those that are anti Trump, dislike him very much. He is doing this not only to clear the rift, but also because the Republican front-runner needs all the help that he can get through endorsements. It's also because he will be seen a little bit better after he caves.
