Well, it's come down to this. Sanders had a good run, but there's a reason Trump didn't debate him. He needs all of his stumping energy for Clinton because it's the battle of god versus the establishment. Who will emerge victorious? Will Trump's heart be stone or gold during the coming months? Will Clinton have enough ferocity to counter him? Would Sanders have survived the presidency at his advanced age? Will Sanders be Trump's VP? Discuss.

If Bernie had won the presidency this year and was re-elected, I can be fairly certain he would die while in office.
To be re-elected he would have to win the 2020 election.
Let's review the record of presidents who won an election in a year ending in zero.

1800 ) Jefferson didn't win, it was a tie. both men got the same number of electoral votes. Congress decided that the other guy would be an even worse president, so they gave him the white house.

1820 ) President Monroe ran unopposed. I won't count this one as a win either, it was not a contest to be won or lost.

1840 ) William Henry Harrison. Won election but got sick at his inaugaration speech and was dead within a few months.

1860 ) Lincoln ...shot

1880 ) Garfield ...shot

1900 ) Mc Kinley ... shot

1920 ) Warren G. Harding ...most likely food poisoning.

1940 ) Franklin D Roosevelt ... Kept getting re-elected until he died of old age.

1960 ) Kennedy ... shot

1980 ) Reagan ... he was shot and probably died while on the operating table, but he was revived. this was kept secret.

2000 ) G.W. Bush he did not actually win, Al Gore got more votes. He is still alive, so we know that if they did that recount in Florida, Gore would have won that state too.

Bernie will be very old in 2020, you know that if he wins that election he won't live to see his retirement.

Good. I cannot begin to explain to you just how happy I am to hear that Clinton got the nomination, and this is coming from someone who hates Clinton, I just happen to hate Bernie 1000000000x more.

Correct. You can notice from my signature just how much I hate Bernie. I hate Bernie more than 20th century dictators.

Will Clinton have enough ferocity to counter him?
it took her longer to put away a single decrepit Independent Jew - with the help of the superdelegates and the DNC - than it did Trump to outcompete 9 or so other candidates, two of which had establishment backing.

No. Lol.

if trump doesn't win, it won't be because clinton will somehow "beat" him - i.e. a fantasy.

Will Sanders be Trump's VP?
God be willing
