Is anyone else disgusted at the current political affairs?

- Assange is in jail because the condom broke. What was he supposed to do? Detect that the condom broke, stop thrusting, and then politely ask the woman if he can inseminate her? No! Wtf! A broken condom is not rape! The woman knew she was at risk when she CONSENTED to the sex in the first place!

- UK police beat up a man in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy, then took took him out of the wheelchair and dragged him across the cement. There's no words to describe how disturbing this is!

- The BBC reporter insinuated that the cerebral palsy wheelchair man posed a threat to the goddamn police armed with deadly weapons!!! Just because he moved towards their direction in his chair!

- The government thinks the commerce clause of the Constitution means "force people to buy sh!t they don't want." What happened to the PUBLIC OPTION health care law they keep talking about??? It's not an option anymore.

- San Francisco banned toys from happy meals because they think they can do better parenting than the real parents. If a kid gets fat because he keeps asking for happy meals with toys, that's the parents goddamn fault and the gov't has no business intervening in peoples personal affairs!!!!! What's next, are they going to steal your children because they decided that you were doing a poor job? Oh wait, they already do that!!

- TSA scanners are being implemented because of an underwear bomber, but the scanners can't even detect the kind of bomb the underwear bomber used! The scanners can't detect anything a metal detector can't detect except for liquid bombs that people stick in their rectal cavities, which the scanner also can't detect!! The only thing it's good for is decreasing our lifespan and violating our privates with their porno death rays that bake you with radiation!!! And if that doesn't get us, they'll come and grope you.

Because this is a new low, beyond pathetic.

When you allow people to murder another because they made a mistake while performing a consensual act I can't see how you can expect anything different to evolve from it.

I would have to see some more on this before I say much. Seems a touch outrageous.

When you allow Federal Judges to decide for millions then the next obvious step is this.

- San Francisco banned toys from happy meals because they think they can do better parenting than the real parents. Can't tell someone if they can get married but they can tell you what you can/can't feed your kid. Makes perfect sense.

- TSA scanners are being implemented because of an underwear bomber, but the scanners can't even detect the kind of bomb the underwear bomber used! Allow government to make your decisions this is the next step. It is how it works.

This is a pretty pedantic point. The mandate is basically just a tax. In a very technical way, I could see how the mandate as worded would be considered unconstitutional, but it's easily fixable with almost no change to the actual spirit of the law. I can understand opposing it in the sense that it should clearly be a true tax, but it's not exactly an egregious breach of freedom or even overtly unconstitutional even with a relatively conservative view of the Interstate Commerce Clause.

I actually fully agree with this. Children are certainly not capable of making rational decisions on their own, and a parent who regularly gives their kid fast food is causing objective physical and potentially emotional long term harm. Do you think that it should be legal for parents to give their children who are under the age of 18 cigarettes? Do you think tobacco companies should be allowed to package children's' toys and gimmicks with cigarettes?

Are you claiming that's all the accusation consists of or all that actually happened?
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

That is accusation was that Assange inseminated a woman without her consent. She consented to the sex, but later claimed that she did not consent to being inseminated (which is what happened when the condom broke).

So yes, it is both the accusation and what actually happened. It's just that the accusations are absurd and clearly not worthy of any punishment, but Swedish law says that a broken condom during sex is rape. (Which probably explains why he turned himself in Britain where they probably don't recognize that law.)

Yes indeed. Some of it does and should rather be eradicated from the societies.

According to a memo circulated at Fox News, you're not allowed to call it the public option anymore - it's the GOVERNMENT option. Supposed to sound more ominous.
