What do you think about those who wish to revert our government to the Articles Of Confederation . . .

Our constitution is good as it is, if it weren't for the fact that the national government pretty much gave itself permission to make any law it wants.

The federal government would be more tolerable if select clauses were removed or reworded, and states were given nullification and secession powers.

Yes.
The question concerned my opinion of someone based on their opinion, so I will base my opinion of them on the basis of their opinion.

And what does this have to do with the subject at hand . . . ?

Reverting to the Articles of Confederation would do more than remove a few clauses and grant some new powers. We'd loose at least 2 branches of government, the IRS (State governments would have to raise their own tax rates to make up for all the federal monies they'd loose), our military, (each state would have to raise it's own army, navy, air force and marines), and foreign policy would become almost non-existant.

The present Constitution already contains provisions for amending and expanding itself and doing so would be much easier than convincing the majority of the country to go back to a system that's already failed once. (Why do you think the founding fathers wrote the Constitution in the first place?)

The Articles of Confederation don't allow a standing army, don't allow congress to tax, and generally lack any real federal authority. With such a large country, and such an interconnected world, we need that unification through the federal government. Without that federal government, the states would become radically different.
