For perspective: 1 week of ads in Florida is $1.7 million. California, which Trump claims to want to contest, would probably be twice that.

Face it folks: you've been conned. (http://docquery.fec.gov...)

He is going to have to be big (like he says) and pony up some cash. Lots of cash.

He better start a new season of Celebrity Apprentice, where the contestants raise money for his campaign instead of charity.

He fired his top aide too.

No, but we know a dumpster fire when we see it. Trumps campaign is a dumpster fire like you get behind a bad Chinese food restaurant.

Ina few decades he might learn how to run a campaign. As it sits now, he is running a Jr. Varsity game in the NFL. He is in over his head. It is a low bar, but yea, WAY over his head.

How does that have anything to do with doing it right? Look, campaigns cost money, and it is the left who has been trying to resolve this. Trump, by some reports, has about a dozen people working. This is not the Trump "get the best to do <blah><blah><blah>" this is incompetence. He will not win by having rallys talking to the same syncopates he talked to last week.

All joking aside - he is dropping the ball bad.

How is buying airtime and communicating your message past your rabid base "bribing lobbyists"? Do you think Trump builds a building by not actually buying materials? Hiring workers?

Where do you suppose he would get the money to do that ?

As an example. In the 2008 election, Obama took in ~$650m from individual contributions (~3m individual contributors), or about 88% of his total. McCain took in only ~200m or 54% of his total in individual contributions. This money, presuming you are naive about financing as you are about other topics, is limited to 2,500$ per contributor. In other words, NOT big lobbies money.

Now, interesting enough, Trump has a BIG button right on his site labeled "Donate". To make it easier for you, here is the direct link.

I am well-aware that not all funding comes from special interests, lol

However, having a large portion of your campaign funded by special interests is still bad. Anything more than 30-40% is a cause for concern. Obama was less corrupt than most politicians, so I'm not surprised that he was primarily funded by individuals.

But anyways, that's interesting. What are the numbers for Hillary, Bernie, and Trump (so far)?
