What would happen globally if the UK didn't renew Trident, it's fleet of nuclear subs?

It will renew them I'm sure.

They better. Trident is the only nuclear deterrent GB has, but it's not as if anyone is going to nuke them anytime soon.

It would likely cause many other nations to reconsider whether or not they need their nuclear stockpiles

The UK needs a nuclear deterrent force. If you don't have such a force, then you are liable to nuclear blackmail, to say nothing of a blatant nuclear strike.
