Not a lot of information on it at the moment, but should be updated in the next couple hours.

oh well, let's just let in more and more refugees without a proper screening process! You're a racist if you still oppose this!

I feel sorry for Western Europeans, as they are seeing these attacks quite often and the aftermath of Radical Islam/Islamism plaguing their societies. It's a good thing that right wing populist groups are on the rise, as they would reform immigration to not allow these sorts of things.

It will last as long as it takes for Western Europe to strengthen their border security. Most of Western Europe really could use immigration reform and be more restrictive on letting in refugees, especially considering most middle eastern migrants are just economic migrants pretending to be refugees.

Are individual states able to strengthen their border security, or is that hindered as part of their EU membership--- do you know? I'm not sure...

I don't know the details considering I'm not European, but I do know that the EU does get in the way of securing their borders.

Honestly, the EU should have been stayed as mostly an economic union.

In a sense, it is. You can't have total free trade without free movement of capital and labor.

The obvious conclusion to gleam from this is that free trade is a farce.

Wouldn't have happened with strict measures to only let the best in, because then there wouldn't be far-right violence against them.

It also could have been someone who was jealous and didn't get asylum or whatever.

One of the EU's main economic shticks was/is free trade between European countries. Their habit of screwing with borders is owed to their nature as an economic union.

Victim blaming, using that logic, I could say the San Bernandino attacks were all America's fault for having invaded Iraq.
