That's the opposite of incentive.

You are speaking about affirmative action? Even if companies still practiced this wouldn't it only even the playing field considering that whites are much more likely to be hired anyway? http://www.politifact.com...

I would say that Republicans actually have to earn your vote, which is beneficial to you. As you are not taken for granted and an assumed vote. I would argue that Republicans haven't made it a major focus and gone into urban communities to try and garner the black vote and for that I would generally say they don't deserve your vote.

This election however is from a quasi Republican who gathered black leaders to try and come up with solutions and have a Q&A session with him so he can bounce ideas off him like he did with job foremen at construction sites. Urban development programs. He's actually make efforts to improve your life.

Things have gotten worse for African Americans under Obama, and Hillary is promising 4+ more years of Obama (income since 2009, home ownership, unemployment, etc). I do realize Republicans have had control of both Houses so this is on them as well. I would say Republicans have not fulfilled their promises and this is why they are getting ousted yet again. Trump is the result of unfulfilled promises and inadequate leadership from the Republican establishment.

"a 10 percent immigrant-induced increase in the labor supply is associated with a 4 percent decrease in black wages, a 3.5 percent decrease in the black employment rate, and a 0.8 percent increase in the black incarceration rate."

http://www.usccr.gov... [page 12]

GDP growth is near stagnant, real unemployment in general is up, our national debt is growing to a staggering rate. ACA is an unsustainable disaster and Clinton wants to keep it as is. The major health insurance companies in the aca pool are leaving, this is not a long term sustaining program and it comes at a ridiculous cost.

There are a lot more reasons, but I'd say the Republican party has a lot further to go to earn your vote and in turn you would get more out of it by enticing them to do so. At least Trump is reaching out to do so. Not promising more of the same like Hillary.

Expanding welfare and unemployment benefits is merely keeping the poor in a state of destitution not improving their circumstances nor affording them the possibility of changing their situation.

Specifically to you, I'd ask what are the things that are the most important to you as all African Americans aren't all alike and some things might appeal to you that don't to others.

1)They'll see you as an equal and a rival instead of giving you a head pat as an "obviously" inferior black person who can't possibly do anything yourself."

2)They'll protect your country, where Democrats are trying to essentially take what blacks and whites correlated together as a union that had Magic Johnson and Larry Bird as equals and take our rainbow of blacks and whites and give it away to cultures who hate us both.

3)They won't use plantation politics designed to keep you in the white elitist Democrats' fields "where you belong" for cheap labor because it's cheaper than slavery to pay you minimal wages and take the extra you should have been paid in the first place and call it a "benefit" to buy your vote and keep you in enslavement.

Jobs. Donald Trump promises to bring back jobs to America from overseas. More domestic job openings would obviously be beneficial to the black community. Plus, for all of Donald Trump's alleged racism he hasn't really said all that much about black people.

Is correlation always equivalent to causation? There's more to a resume than the name, because resumes with black names may have less impressive stats. This is speculation based on blacks statistically having lower levels of education, so you may be right about whites having more job opportunities when every other factor is adjusted for. None the less, you gave no proof of why Blacks have less job opportunity for the same work considering correlation isn't equivalent to causation.

None the less, affirmative action is a stupid system which holds down Asians and gives the upper hand to Blacks in college admissions. Blacks aren't going to get more educated and better jobs if you just lower the bar. That is like tripling the amount of fish in a sea to help a man without knowledge of fishing to fish. In fact, lower standards would only put a "laziness" mentality. It is quite the same with welfare, because we only distributed wealth to the poor instead of helping them make money themselves. Was the war on poverty not a failure?

You should not vote for a Republican. Why on earth would anyone ever vote for a Republican?

You can provide social value as a token black. There are benefits to being an uncle tom. Its important for republicans to be able to sat "Look at my African American over here."

Really THINK Back my brotha - to the community itself and who was in office and what the spirit of your community was like! Dang, I just saw that you are only 27. The only time I remember my community being cool under a democrat, was with Carter, who actually cared about people. What were the Reagan years like in many black communities? SELF EMPOWERED! Groups like Boogie Down Productions were bringing knowledge to the people. Public Enemy and NWA felt free enough to say what was on their minds. How bout Bush Sr's years in office? X-Clan and Rakim!

Get to 1992 and the Clinton administration brings Al Gore and his wife Tipper Gore - who wants to CENSOR ARTISTS! What was the result? Thug music - to be rebellious, and Gangsta Rap! Democrats promise bullshit ass pipedreams and censor the truth, and cause communities to feel the need for government who does nothing. Under republicans - self empowerment is expected and allowed , and good for the community at large! Trump however may not really be a republican - I was hoping for Kasich.

Did Obama change your life? If a black president won't I guess you will just have to change your own life. Imagine that?
