In Munich last month some Persian went on a rampage and shot 9 people while wounding many others.

A man was caught engaging with the shooter on the rooftop. He insulted the shooter, threw things at him, and just generally distracted him. His distraction almost certainly saved lives and any competent government would reward him as a hero...so what does the German government do? They charge him with libel for insulting the shooter: http://www.breitbart.com...

Is there any more openly treasonous government than Germany's? It's almost like they want a populist revolt...and would've had one long ago if Germany hadn't suffered two world wars where most of the brave and strong men died

Just bomb their legislative buildings, kidnap Merkel for imprisonment, and put Trump Jr. Or Ivanka in charge over Germany.

If any charges are brought against Mr. Salbey, they will have nothing to do with the German Federal Government. It will be at the discretion of the Bavarian State Prosecutor.

Or if you actually speak German (like I do), you can go to some German news sources and look at the facts.

1) A woman reported Mr. Salbey to the authorities because she believed his insults were what provoked the shooter.
2) The woman was unaware shootings had already occurred.
3) The Munich state prosecutor already dropped the case.

You're wrong. This came from Breitbart -- of course it's accurate, objective, and free of biased distortions. There's no way the author could have foreseen that someone like thett would react to the story in this manner, especially given how delicately and honestly she framed it.

You're right. The German government is not known for covering up things and/or manipulating its media. No, not at all.

Yeah, that's not accurate. The accurate charge was filed for manslaughter. There aren't laws against insulting the dead in Germany (probably a mistranslation happened somewhere along somebody's reporting).

And here's a video by the woman who filed the report. She's pretty much exactly the kind of person you think she is. It's all in German, but she says what I said (as well as a bunch of standard SJW stuff and being anti-mob and all that).

Yeah, but I feel like you're someone who's actually able to back off from it and recognize it for what it is. It's the people who can't that worry me.

It can be pretty funny at times though.

Link?

The article says that the potential charges include things like "insulting the dead" which makes no sense if you're right.

It's all in German, but she says what I said (as well as a bunch of standard SJW stuff and being anti-mob and all that).

you're making too much goddamn sense we should just nuke those fvcking nazis

That is truly disgusting. This man is a hero not a criminal. How anyone could even think of prosecuting him is delusional. It's hard to believe the German government are really that stupid. There are few acts more courageous than standing up to an armed terrorist who is trying to kill as many people as possible. This ridiculous development will lead to people being discouraged from standing up to terrorism due to the possibility of being charged with a criminal offence. This really does send out all the wrong messages and casts Germany in a terrible light.

It has, and never had, anything to do with the German Federal Government. A criminal complaint was made against Mr Salbey by a member of the public. Under Bavarian law the Bavarian Prosecutor is duty bound to investigate. He has now done so, and no charges will be brought. End of story.

That's good news then. Have you got any sources?

For the record, my "disgusting" was directed at the libel charges, not at Thett (i.e. I agree with Thett's perspective).
