The Republic Party announced Mike Pence won before the debate even started. This is probably how most people go into the debates anyway.

So you, a liberal, are openly admitting the media is a full blown propaganda machine sham? Hmmm...we agree on something. So now...don't go home, watch msnbc and think that bs is reality.

I don't think I've ever voted for the liberals. The word "liberal" likely means something different to you than it does to me. That's another problem with US politics. You have to identify with a specific party. Unless you are registered with that party, you have no say in who runs in that party. So if that party wins, you had essentially no say in your president.

Unlike Americans, I vote for people based on their platform, not based on some false identification with a particular party.

that's true we label everything, even when it can't and shouldn't be, huge problem on a lot of levels, issues can be conservative or liberal, right/left whatever, I don't know but maybe some totally agree with one side or the other about everything, though i can't imagine that would be many, seems a bit irrational.

I grew up having to work as a child, no cell phone, no tv, no radio. Notta. Your generation has more overall than any generation in human history and yet claims it is owed more, should be able to do less, then screams if it doesn't get its way. They raised a generation of little b*tches. Your therapy session will be $100. So cough it up.

Watching a once amazing country erode beneath corruption, a new generation of selfishness, and self entitlement by those who have earned nothing.

And namely your current administration's policy of saying "peace, peace" with their fingers crossed behind their back, then killing people by the millions, then trying to replace Middle East leaders like rolls of toilet paper, all while telling us the world is now safer. It is? How many people have been bombed into oblivion during Donkey's 8 years? How many regions are now in anarchy and chaos? But you don't care. Why? It makes white people feel good to hate their own race and support another at all costs, even if your candidate is corrupt, a murderer, guilty of treason. It doesn't mstter. You have a political agenda and worldview that has no directive, no goal, no plan, no strategy, no idea what it wants or is even going. And? That worldview continues to destroy your country all in on the concept thatmaybe, just maybe these leaders will actually do something for the poor or for minorities but? It never happens. Never will. Never did. You've sold your birthright and dignity for a theoretical crust of bread that never actually appears.

And free college? There's a pipedream. Look at the football stadiums at Ohio Stae, Alabama, Michigan, Clemson, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M. They own whomever they want to own. No politician will ever get it done in 100 years. Won't happen. Those stadiums weren't erected with the intent of giving up funds or power. And your politicians are all alma maters of these very universities.

I think that it's inexcusable that we don't follow the same electoral model that France does for our executive elections. Honestly, the US presidential election is absurd.

It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."

The idea that Tulle, who is Canadian, has a superior method of determining who is a good political candidate from Americans, on the basis of national differences, is complete nonsense that can be easily dismissed like the totality of every other "idea" she has proffered.

Nationality has nothing to do with ability to form good reasons for selecting a candidate, but perhaps her misunderstandings and tendency to generalize about all people on the basis of national origin does speak volumes to, in particular, Canada's educational system's (and her graduate program's) deficiencies in the way of teaching critical thinking skills.

The media.
"The Collectivist experiment is thoroughly suited (in appearance at least) to the Capitalist society which it proposes to replace.

Honestly, it's so stressful. I can see why Americans are so unhappy all the time. The last Canadian election was the longest in history - it was about as long as Kim Kardashians second marriage and people complained.

Not familiar with the French model?

I 100% agree with the second statement.
