Yes, and I don't see how ANY news paper would endorse her.
Her campaign is based entirely on a false Portrayal of Donald Trump.
She could say something about how he has been in the real estate business since he was in college and has never had a job as an elected official or any experience in politics, or how he does not agree with you on ever so many issues, but rather than do that, she goes on and on about he is too rude to be President, and this entirely fictional idea that he is a hot head with a short fuse who would launch nuclear missiles if he was having a bad day and got very angry.
Of course, I would not expect her to say anything true , she is a lawyer. In the English language our words for lawyer and liar sound very very much alike, there's got to be a reason for that.
As for the Donald, in my book, any man who has gotten his hands on so many hot women has got to be doing something right!

Yeah, link isn't working for me. I'll just take it at face value and assume the recorder insults Hillary and ends the article with #Trump2016.

That was most definitely an endorsement for Clinton, written by yet another sad sport who believes the blatantly false leftist talking point that Hillary is "the most qualified presidential candidate in modern American history".

I'm gonna pull a Bronto real fast: Hillary used an unauthorised, insecure server to send and receive tens of thousands of emails concerning her capacities as Secretary of State. Many of these emails included confidential information; had America's rivals/enemies managed to hack this insecure server and acquire those emails, they could have access to information that perhaps is damaging to America, information that could potentially cost the lives of Americans and harm our national interests. During her tenure as Secretary of State, the Arab Spring erupted and plunged the Middle East into chaos, and the U.S. did absolutely nothing to alleviate the mass suffering that followed.
Now, was the email thing an honest mistake? Probably. Should she be disqualified from running for her mistake? Not necessarily. Is she a good candidate for the office of POTUS? Maybe she is. But she definitely isn't the most qualified in modern history. That honour goes to George H. W. Bush, and there were probably many others more qualified than she is now.

I could agree with most of your post. The email thing was a huge mistake. I hate that she did it. She still is very qualified in spite of that.

Pretty much all colleges are liberal because college students are baited by statism...

Dunno why you think Yale is conservative though, but even so I am sure that "yalerecord.org" doesn't represent all of Yale in general.

I'm not going to dispute that, or at least not here in this thread. What I take issue with is the "most qualified in modern history" line.

A shallow attempt to be coy, funny and ironic... it just looks bad.

This is the liberal version of Republicans who try to use their church's pulpit as a platform to spew socially conservative vomit.

Just to quote the article for those who cannot see it:

In its 144-year history, The Yale Record has never endorsed a Democratic candidate for president. In fact, we have never endorsed any candidate for president. This is, in part, due to our strong commitment to being a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, which mandates that we are "absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office."

This year's presidential election is highly unusual, but ultimately no different: The Yale Record believes both candidates to be equally un-endorsable, due to our faithful compliance with the tax code.

In particular, we do not endorse Hillary Clinton"s exemplary leadership during her 30 years in the public eye. We do not support her impressive commitment to serving and improving this country--a commitment to which she has dedicated her entire professional career. Because of unambiguous tax law, we do not encourage you to support the most qualified presidential candidate in modern American history, nor do we encourage all citizens to shatter the glass ceiling once and for all by electing Secretary Clinton on November 8.

The Yale Record has no opinion whatsoever on Dr. Jill Stein.

Sure the tone is arrogant. The writers overplay the joke. The takeaway for me is, in a very long history they have never done anything like this. That is how far this election has pushed things.

I get the joke, I just don't like it. It's obvious political activity, which is obviously inapropriate if you're a charitable organization. I support Clinton (*holds my nose because she's pretty much a Republican*), but I don't support violating the law to engage in political advocacy.

With the idiotic climate of Donald Trump talking about elections being "rigged" and not accepting the outcome, and people across the country entertaining outright delusions of voter fraud, and malevolent_dipshit_cunts like Sean Hannity existing... this doesn't help.

Like, if they were even going to gain even a scintilla of additional support for Hillary I might care, but the optics of this gesture are good only if you're on the Left, and bad if you're in the middle or to the right for everyone on the left.
