So, time to show my cost this year for an individual plan would be...last year, it was up to $586.23 per month for premium.

So, this year, my grand total for monthly premium will be...

(Insert Drum Roll)

"Sorry, there are no plans available for you."

586 dollars? That's shocking...I forgot that the U.S doesn't have free healthcare.

If you were the correct skin color with the correct income level, you would have gotten a tax-funded subsidy.

Well...yes. Although even people on temporary stays in European countries, can have free healthcare--without paying any tax into that particular state.

Good lord. Who cares. My point is, I have seen so many crap story's about this damn thing. I am genuinely curious about this one. I am doubtful that it happens at all, and I went out searching to see if there were other people reporting nonsense like this, can't find one.

The ACA is far from perfect. We will get our way to single-payer sooner or later, but till then, the ACA is doing some damn good for many people who couldn't get or afford insurance. The endless bashing from the right (and I mean ENDLESS) is the sort of childish response to any effort to improve anything. The last time I saw a f**king idea from a Conservative politician that didn't start and end with "lower taxes" it was "know what would be fun? Starting a worthless war of choice".

What the actual f**k does healthnetwork.com have to do with the ACA? For real?

I think you are making this up.

Here ya go TBR:

https://healthnetwork.com...

What the actual f**k does healthnetwork.com have to do with the ACA? For real?

HealthNetwork is the leading independent health insurance comparison marketplace within the US. Our approach is different than any other company currently within the healthcare ecosystem. ... We are a pure play healthcare marketing company that respects consumers and their privacy.

Explain please. Or should I just add this one to the ever growing pile of crap made up about the ACA

Welcome to AZ where Aetna bought up every other insurer then just dropped out of the ACA marketplace.

Not even close to answering the question.

"Arizona uses the federally-facilitated exchange, so residents in the state use Healthcare.gov to enroll in exchange plans.

Find me that when you are going through the proper exchange, not some dink (I looked up that company - its 10-50 people operating a website) site.

I did go through the proper exchange, and after I plugged in all my personal information and hit find a plan, that is what came up.

I apologize for sounding overly argumentative, but this crap pisses me off. There are plenty of issues with the ACA that people should not be compelled to exaggerate anything.

Now. I have done my best to see how this company connects with healthcare.gov, and find none. If you were using the exchange and got to this page, I have no idea how. There is, as I understand it, absolutely no way to go through the exchange and NOT be offered a plan.

Prove me wrong, and I will eat crow today, I just don't believe it is possible.

If there is no way to not get a plan...why would that page even exist? Furthermore, why would I go out of my way to find a page like that which shouldn't exist, just to post it here? Being in a state which has 116% increases this year, wouldn't it make more sense for me to take the 2 minutes to get an actual quote and show the massive price increases?
