I didn't ask for it, it just broke itself. One of my Air Force buddies did offer me a discount that blow him today since it's armistice, sorry Veterans Day :)

Lol! Sad but true.

My cynicism aside, do you think our experiment is at its end?

I guess it depends, clearly everyone is digging out their magic 8 ball to predict the future, because that's probably as reliable as anything could be. Though from what I heard about some recent tweets it sounds like he may follow through with addressing the working poor.

I have no interest in this method of creative destruction. Real people, my fellow Americans and people throughout the world will suffer real effect from this disaster.

This was no game. The Trump supporters who did this to "shake things up" are more deserving of the title of despicable than KKK member. They knew better, they just didn't care.

I can't completely agree. While no game we selected false choices and many only heard what they wanted to hear, pro and con.

It is moments in time like this I remember uncle iroh and his words of wisdom to zuko.

I'm independent. I'm skeptical of all federal government. However I'm personally extremely progressive, just not in regards to government power-dictation.

I'm not sure if our experiment is over. History is one of my masters. I do know we are at a crossroads. The current transition is painful.

emotionally painful for some I guess, but what has actually happened yet? Lots of guessing and prognosticators, they can enjoy their gloom and doom, I'll wait and see what happens and hope for the best.

I am very proud of my country, and my system of government. It is astounding to me to listen to many of the very people who question my patriotism (lots during Bush) tell me the intent is to destroy our very system of government because of... conspiracy based corruption.

My representation in government are not perfect examples of statesmen measured against some model of our founding fathers - a model that rely on the fiction that they know the founders with perfect knowledge. The notion that I need to scrap it all, and we can and should do this with cudgel like Trump is antithetical to the very nature of American citizen I hold dear.

I hear you. Heck I fought for you. Got to remember though, the 'other side' also has an op. Neither candidate represents me. You and I may disagree on many polocies. But I think there is mutual respect. We could work together. Don't discount or impugn like so many do.

While I would choose your path and would like to see that, reality isn't looking that way right now. Funny those who chanted Love trumps hate sure are hating, baseball bats trump personal property and businesses, how about the guy who got beat up and put in the hospital in Chicago because he dared admit he voted for trump, guess they beat him out of love. these are the same fools who would want more gun control, well not only should they know they won't get any in the next 4 years, things may loose up some in certain areas, and the violence they are causing might make people carry or buy guns who wouldn't have otherwise. For all the talk I find the left to be the most intolerant and violent of any side, both sides have their scum but the actions of the group speaks very loudly. For all the cries of racism, I don't recall any riots the 2 times Obama was elected.

-Ah, that guy got hired!

yup...that just happened

-I don't like him. What's he screwed up now?

Well he got elected, hasn't done anything yet, but now half the country has CBS.

-What's that?

Chronic Bitch Syndrome. Its a nasty disease, but its treatable. You can learn about it on channel 12.

-That's terrible he gave all those people CBS, and now he wants to repeal Obama care. What a dick. We're doomed! He'll rape the nation!

You might be showing symptoms. I would get that checked, but don't worry. You've still got a couple months to get over it.

-Oh great, good thing Obama has got my back.

Yeah he's great. Here's an educational video he made for people seeking treatment. And of course, its free. https://www.youtube.com...

-Thanks Obama
Wisdom is found where the wise seek it.

Come on! Are you ignoring the sh1t storm of reports of beatings from Trump supporters?

Look. I don't care if some stupid a$$ breaks a window out of anger. I care then they break heads, when they threaten and intimidate. This sh1t is getting violent, and it is NOT equal on both sides. This is the result of what many said they wanted. Destruction.

Dude that was awesome, in's interesting to see who has the level heads and what their leanings are.

That's why I told TBR who I respect that we are at a crossroads. We can improve the experiment, president be darned, or we can continue down this divisive partisanship.

Come on! Are you ignoring the sh1t storm of reports of beatings from Trump supporters?

I'm not aware of any reports, the guy in Chicago was beaten and put in the hospital for being a Trump supporter, a majority of the violence has been from non Trump supporters, if you are going to try associate the KKK as Trump supporters, Trump has disavowed their support. Just because you claim to be a supporter doesn't mean they want your support, much like the rioters in BLM who some claim they aren't part of BLM even though they don't disavow the violence. You can't stop someone from supporting you. And people have been hurt from the riots, not to mention it ties up the police and first responders who could be helping people who need it. Lots of people do lots of things in the name of whatever, doesn't always and shouldn't reflect what they claim.

I don't know how much or how true the "show the establishment" attitude is, just like the "Never Trump" there was a "Never Hillary" maybe not as well known or vocal, but in the end I think that was more of the reality.

wouldn't be the first time a gay faked injuries and an attack, hard to believe it happened at a bar an no arrest.

You haven't seen them? My guess is you are plugged directly into right wing sources, and haven't looked-up in years.

I don't know how much or how true the "show the establishment" attitude is, just like the "Never Trump" there was a "Never Hillary" maybe not as well known or vocal, but in the end I think that was more of the reality.

the riots
President Obama said Friday night that Democrats should stop assaulting Donald Trump supporters By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Friday, June 3, 2016

There is a dead saudi kid in WI. I was going to link, but no perfect detail. Sure looks inspired.

Bury you head in the sand if you wish, but the truth is right there. This is ugly, and the stank is on everyone who associated with it. Trump softly denouncing the KKK does not mean that the KKK is not VERY happy to have Trump. Trump IS responsible for his words, actions, and the implicit pass he is encouraging. This is why the basket is just not big enough to hold all these people.

The thing is though, he was out cold, bleeding, laying back and seems like there isn't any blood in his hair, so I assumed with three tips, and him being in the film industry, it might be a prank, with fake blood spread all over his face and asked. All this brought instinctual uncertainty, So I just asked....
