Italian fascism is a bit of a nothing really, it only had a few core principles and beyond that was simply opportunism and pragmatism. Mussolini's greatest failings both political and 'morally' would be his militarism and his alliance with Germany.

Did you know he originally delayed anschluss back in 34 or 35 by deploying his forces on the Italian-Austrian border and forcing Hitler to back down?
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

I personally think Mussolini had too much influence from Hitler so his version of fascism turned too much into something resembling nazism.

Mussolini was a despot and a self centered fool.

As for Fascism, well it didn't really mean much. The realpolitik of the Fascists was agrarian, nationalising and protectionist - think Nazi but less egalitarian. Overall, it wasn't anything special; the Gold for the Fatherland and Grain Battle initiatives failed, it got them through the austerity of the Great Depression but nothing more.

It really was the other way around.

How so? Italian fascism came first.

Ya, I think he knows that. His point is Hitler and his antitheism and Fuhrer personality cult are based around the of model dictatorship of Mussolini.

No, no. I think you guys are missing the point. Nazism originally put more emphasis on racial purity than fascism did. I don't think those ideas, if at all, were implemented into italian fascism until later.

Basically, when Hitler got arrested in 24 he got a little man crush on Mussolini. The racial side of nazism is a creation of german nationalism and their ethnic egotism but the Reich that Hitler had idealed wouldn't been without Mussolini's theorised(id est. never came to be) true fascist paradise.

There's much more to Nazism than the holocaust - WWII ect. Please see the 24 points and the amended Wiemar constitution.
