Godsands i don't think you really understand a spiritual struggle. I think that your arrogance precludes any sort of identification with a true case of "The dark night of the soul". In some ways i envy you, and in other ways i find you so alien to those of us who incoporporate the message with reality, and question both. It is in your relentless unquestioning absolute belief that will keep you from truly being able to understand what a struggle with faith is. But, maybe that's my arrogance in assuming this of you.

Perhaps it is? I sincerely struggle with sin, it is mentally straining and dilemmatic. My body wants to sin, but my heart says, 'No, no! You must resist!' And when I cannot, and thus I sin, I feel a guilt that inflicts even more mental stress than before. I know Christ enough to not want to sin and I know Christ because my heart have been changed by Him. Yet I do still sin because I cannot always do what I want to do (Romans 7:15), and I do what I do not want to do. I am still within my flesh and bones, and my fallen body's wants are contrary to my spiritual wants. Yet I know myself what I do is wrong, now based on the law although I know I should obey the law, but it is on grace that I know what is wrong, yet I still sin. And I want to do good not based on the law but based on grace. I love God yet I cannot keep up to His grace. I am treated unconditionally, yet I cannot live up to the standard that I am actually treated unconditionally, yet I am because I am gifted with unconditional grace.

The video actually spoke to me in a convenient way. God will never desert me, He will never let me down ever. Thank you, that video helped as I drifted off in a distant thought, carrying with me the amazing qualities of God mentioned in the video.

Ok, that's better. :)
