My world was turned upside down when I found the Goddess. It's actually a very comfortable position.

The same thing I did when I came to the conclusion that there were taxes, for the same reasons.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

As an ex atheist, my first reaction, after thinking of what I should do for a time, was to curse him for being real.

I had a reputation of arguing against his existence, in a nice way, and the new mw had to join the believers camp and take all the unpleasant epithets that atheists were going to give me.

My main thought was that, in a sense, I was going from fame to fool.

Just so you know, the Godhead I found through my apotheosis was not the miracle working absentee super God that was never here. He is still a myth IMO. A wish list God that man made up.

It is possible that what the ancients found was the Godhead and for reasons of profit and B S, they added on a bunch of impossible attributes to popularize their God and compete against the other Gods of that day.

The closest description of the Godhead is a cosmic consciousness.
No miracle, interference unless found and no dogma.

If the God I found would have been that God, I cannot imagine anything that he could have said to change my mind about his being a genocidal maniac who deserves to be shot on sight.

Of all the Gods available to man, only those of poor heart, morals and character will promote such a despicable God.

Any one here agree with this verdict?

The same thing i would do if i found out that Unicorns exist. I would simply say "Huh, so it does exist", and that would be that.

The simple belief that a God exists, tells you nothing about which religion is true, whether that God even cares about us, or whether that God even still exists today. Although the scope of our argument regarding whether God exists, would change, my position on each religion and the claims of believers about their God, would remain the same.

Mind you, i would still put some effort into finding out what sort of God this is, the real question you should ask yourselves is, why HASNT a God revealed himself.
