An Austrian member of the the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster has won the legal right to use a photograph of himself wearing a pasta-strainer on his head in his passport.

Normally, hats and other head-coverings are not allowed in passport photos but the courts agreed that the pasta-strainer is religious headgear and should, therefore, be permitted.

The only trouble is that when he travels abroad the immigration officers won't recognise him if he forgets to wear it when he goes through border controls!

This has really inspired me to take my faith more seriously.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

In Australia didn't they also succeed in getting Jedi to be a recognized religion on the census?

Psalm 2:3-6
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

3 "Let us break their chains," they say,
"and throw off their fetters."

4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 "I have installed my King[a]
on Zion, my holy hill."
The Cross.. the Cross.
