What makes a thing "Most Great"

and why is such a thing "great-making"

Objective Reasonings only please!!.. nothing based in personal valuation..

All your valuations must be based in Reason Alone!!

Getting something done well is only Great if it's important to get something done well.

The "Greatness" of something's being efficient is dependent upon the "Greatness"/importance of the thing being done.

Efficiency is Not "great" of itself.

Process efficiency is always important to the process. Efficiency can only exist within a process, so efficiency is "great" of itself.

efficiency in murdering random people is not something I think as Great.. I think it's especially horrible.

The process needs to be shown to be Valuable to engage in for the efficiency of the process to be of value.

I don't really care if you don't want to discuss it with me or not... I will speak as I wish as this is a public forum.

Your example of murder and your personal definition of something being "great" does not make it so, nor does mine. All we can both do is give our perspectives and see who agrees. I have given a logical answer to your question and your refutation. All you have done is throw my logical answer to the curb and say you no longer want to discuss this with me.

An efficient murderer is a "great" murderer. The biblical God would seem to fall under this example. I have given both a logical answer and kept it within a religious context do to my example.

I have respected you. Now respect me in return.

You're a dummy.

no, I explained how you're wrong.. And how your type answer is irrelevant to the thread even if you weren't wrong (which you are).

not a chance.

Great of itself.. Efficiency is Nothing of itself.

"Efficiency" does not Exist of itself...

one is Efficient at Doing things.

A person or Thing might have a quality of Being efficient in doing things.. at accomplishing their goals..

But this doesn't make the person great, or their goals great.. they may be "great" at accomplishing their goals.. but that's Great at doing something..

I'm asking what makes A THING great. Efficiency is NOt a thing.

Your words do not even make sense. You are asking what thing makes another thing GREAT. Are you not seeing the flaw in your logical reasoning here?

Efficiency is a thing. It is an adjective. It is an attribute. It is a word that describes what makes something GREAT.

Sorry, you can't handle the answer... But you aren't making much sense. Another problem seems to be that you think GREAT equals benevolence. It does not. You can be GREAT at killing people. You can be GREAT at acting immoral. You can be GREAT at stealing. Etc.

A better question now would be... What makes something efficient?

Great = Most preferable
