According to certain religions calling themselves christian its Jesus,s righteousness we should seek. But according to Jesus its his Fathers, his Gods righteousness we should be seeking--who do we listen to??????? Jesus said-- Keep on seeking first the kingdom and his( Jehovah) righteousness, and all will be added.

Righteousness is bovine scatology based on an extremely poor translation.

Why ask a question if you don't want to hear other peoples' answers?

Gee, we don't know what he said....only the substance of what he taught. As for speaking now....He sent his spirit which must be discerned in he context of a believing community and that communities historical context.

It says exactly the same thing in every translation--Jesus didnt say my righteousness, Jesus said his righteousness--talking about his God and Father= Jehovah--Jesus always pointed everything to his God and Father.
Even while sitting at Gods right hand-- at revelation 3:12--Jesus stressed 4 times in 1 paragraph to the whole world that he( Jesus) has a God.

That is correct.

First of all, Jesus Christ is God. He's one with the Father, and with the Spirit.

Secondly, the righteousness of God can only become ours through union with Jesus Christ.

Look at 2 Corinthians 5:21,
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

through Jesus it teaches--and one needs to get to the Father--John 17:1-6,26--Jesus teaches the one who sent him( Father) = THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and one must know( take in knowledge) of him and of Jesus to get eternal life-- verse6 = Jehovah, verse 26 = Jehovah. Only then one can accomplish this truth from Jesus at John 4:22-24--- The true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for its the Father who is searching for the such to worship him in spirit and truth--and the hour is now.

Jesus taught true worshippers worship the Father=Jehovah.

I agree that the Father sent Jesus--but Jesus is not God--he was made lower than the angels as a mortal--not God in the flesh.

Then what do you make of Colossians 2:8-9? :

"Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;"

And what about John 1:1-3? :

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."
