Has anyone read it? Is it worth the read? I got it as a gift a couple of years ago and it sat on my shelf collection dust until my boyfriend saw it and recommended it to me.

I cheated and read up until the second chapter in one day (he recommends you only read one chapter a day). I just couldn't continue. Has anyone finished it? Would anyone recommended it? Why?
yang.

I read it years ago. It is not worth it. Far more profitable books imo entail good theology.

lol The title reminds me of this
"A stupid despot may constrain his slaves with iron chains; but a true politician binds them even more strongly with the chain of their own ideas" - Michel Foucault

The Fool: It looks very creepy, and psychologicaly dangerous.
"The bud disappears when the blossom breaks through, and we might say that the former is refuted by the latter; in the same way when the fruit comes, the blossom may be explained to be a false form of the plant's existence, for the fruit appears as its true nature in place of the blossom. These stages are not merely differentiated; they supplant one another as being incompatible with one another." G. W. F. HEGEL
