This is a clip from the film that lead to violent uprisings in Libya, killed an ambassador and several other Americans, burned down a U.S embassy, and as per the projections of the FBI and Department of Homeland Security has elevated the threat for terrorist attacks on U.S soil.

That a barely popular video made by an unknown individual can spark such global chaos through "offense" is completely unacceptable. These people don't just kill because they're murders, they think they have found a superior moral calling that overrules all sense of decency and humanity. Religion is not just the excuse, it is the cause.

I find it harder and harder to believe that it is unfair to associate violence with religion...and harder to believe that only reckless minded people create violence with religion as an excuse, where the religion itself was not the driving influence. Religion teaches people to be angry, indignant, and intolerant, to reject other people's opinions. It turns a rational individual into a servant of a cause. Religion causes violence...religion is often predicated on low IQ and lack of education. It isn't sufficient for atheists to sit back and let it be,...this is a force that should be defeated, and there is nothing to be ashamed of or evasive of in this anti-theism.

Yeah, if that makes you feel better. There are madmen in every front of the world. That includes atheism, though you do not admit that.

You are a liar.

1. Atheism has no standard belief set, it is not a religion.
2. Atheism is predicated on open-mindedness and aversion of dogmatic thinking
3. Atheists tend to have higher IQ and education
4. MOST IMPORTANT: Atheistic nations are the most peaceful on Earth

I know TheAsylum is right. You will always say look at what those christians are doing, look at their religion. Look at what those Muslims are doing, look at their religion.

But look at the catastrophe and disaster atheism has caused!

Thats only due to Secularism which is an atheistic process. Without Secularism atheism would crumble

Top nations they show is

Sweden = 83% Christian (Video claims it is 85% Atheist)
Vietnam = 85% Buddhism (Video claims it is 81% Atheist)
Denmark = 80% belong to the Church of Denmark (Video claims it is 80% Atheist)
Norway = 83.6% Christian (Video claims it is 72% Atheist)
Japan = This one is disputable so Ill give you this one
Czech Rep = Same as Japan
Finland = 79.9% Evangelical Lutheran (Video claims it is 60% Atheist)
France = 65% Roman Catholic and 27% Atheist (Video claims it is 60% Atheist)
Germany = 62.8% Christian (Video claims it is 49% Atheist)
Hungary = 55% Christian and 30% Atheist (Video claims it is 48% Atheist)

I wouldnt be surprised by the Muslim nations ranking as the most problematic, but the video greatly exaggerates how atheistic the most peaceful nations really are.

not quite.

"Religiosity in Sweden plays a limited role compared to the European average. In a 2009 Gallup poll, 17% answered yes to the question "Is religion an important part of your daily life?".[2] Less than 4% of the Church of Sweden membership attends public worship during an average week; about 2% are regular attendees.[3]" (http://en.wikipedia.org... )

don't feel like researching the rest of them, but I'm sure they'll have something to this effect.

Wow, that would make this one dishonest video. What does it say about the people that blindly accept it as if it was................ well for a lack of a better word...........scripture.

Hold on there...The video was a measure of degree of religiosity, not self-professed religion. It is still valid.

It is sad that these lives were lost, and that they died at the hands of those using a god as their inspiration. However, if people are so concerned over a few lives being lost at the hands of extremists, why aren't you bmc'ing about the 50 million babies that have been killed in this country since baby killing as a means of birth control, became legal?? Senseless violence is senseless violence, no matter what reasoning you want to give for it.

This is now being used as an excuse to rail on religion in general. Go after the source of the violence, don't attack all who believe in God just because a few wackjobs use theirs as a reason to kill. If a non-Christian commits a murder, is it then acceptable for us to go after ALL non-Christians and preach for their elimination?? Of course not.
