I'm not catholic, so I don't really know whats going on, but has the recent scandals revealed in the catholic church shaken people's faith? Or not?

My faith would certainly be shaken If I was being led by this guy:

I'm still waiting for you & your masters to front up to the JREFoundation, but we both already know the outcome if ever you grew a back-bone and had the faith of a mustard seed to try your Supernatural claims there? LOL!

Also, the Holy Father Benedict XVI is solidly orthodox, so I like that. Nowadays, the Catholic Church is infested with theological liberals, so it's good to have a Pope like the current Holy Father.

That might also explain how your dirty catholic faggot paedophiles wanted to ' follow in its steps, LOL! (cf. 1 Pet. 2:21) catholic bible Story book

It's only an easy win because the church is fill of paedophile or people covering for paedophiles to preserve the churches 'good' image.
Even the pope looks like a creep.

To be honest, yes, it shook my faith. The Catholic church teaches the exact opposite of what it is doing, and that depresses me. The leaders of the Church found it more appropriate to protect the name of the Church rather than do the right thing.

Even so, I still regard the teachings of the Church as truth. I haven't lost faith in God. But I think I lost some faith in the Church as an organization.

Well, wasn't Gods plan for the church to be non-denominational?

you think? I find brilliant comfort when i read scriptures about the millions who are doomed to eternal flame. I also find that you have a very misinformed position. So I reckon that we should ban people that don't have a positive IQ, their opinions are like lead weights in the gene pool.

When the Roman Empire was on it's last legs, the ruling families escaped by putting their money into the burgeoning Christian church and their children into the Priesthood..

This not to say they were not true believers..

Like all denominations, but more than most, they have many errors, such as worshiping Mary, which was used to replace pagan goddess worship..
Everyone on the side of Truth listens to Me. (Jesus Christ)
