On the PSATs, I had to put down a religion that I was. To do this, I had to fill in the religion code that was my religion. There were approximately 30 religions, none of them being any sort of non theist religion so I had to put "Other" what would you do?

I took them today as well.

01 - Don't want to tell [or something to that affect]

99 - No religious affiliation/belief [or something to that affect]
= Atheist/Agnostic/Non-Theist

Why would you have to fill out your religion? So the fundamentalist markers have a reason to harshly grade you?

It's solely for research purposes. The results are computer determined (fill-in bubbles) anyway.

PSATs are pretty much the practice SATs.

The SATs are the pretty much the standardized college entrance/admissions exam. There are 3 sections with each section being worth 800 points, making the highest possible score 2400. Colleges receive your SAT scores to determine admissions among other things.
^^^That's it in a nutshell, ask if you want to know anything else.

Besides the grid-ins for Math and writing an actual essay, the whole test is multiple choice.

I took them as well.
I would've put I Prefer Not To Tell or Other.
I didn't have to worry about it, though. I'm Methodist.

How did you feel about the test in general?

I found it to be rather easy. But that locker question in the math section as well as the numbers with the number 7 in it were ridiculous.

...we didn't have an essay, Nags.

Why would you think there was an essay? On the locker one, I had time to spare, so I spent 5 minutes on it but then left it blank. Did anyone else feel compelled not to choose E on the correct the sentence ones with the underlined word? I knew that something was wrong, but I didn't know what.

I'd fill in the most obscure religion there, and coax as many of my classmates as possible to do the same. Imagine the shock when they realized there were 49 Rastafarians in the class. :D

One of the answers to the locker one was 620 - half the kids in my testing room wrote 155...it said EVEN fools.

About the religions, Rastafarian wasn't an option but part of me REEALLLYY wanted to bubble Quaker.

I put 310 for the locker one. I almost put 155, then I realized it wasn't even.
I got two answers for the 7 one, so I just chose one. That was ridiculous. I probably got it wrong.

And on the sentence thing, most of my answers were E.
Some weren't though. Sections 1 and 3 were the worst for me. That vocabulary got me.
The math stuff was alright.
Section 5 was alright..

This is the first time I've taken it but most in my school take it grades 9-11.

If you bothered to read, you would've known that I was explaining the structure of the SATs to Panda.

Does anybody know how long it takes to get the PSATs score?

I think we get them back some time in December.

There are lockers numbered 1-1000. How many of them don't have the digit 7 in them.
