Religion is a topic of great interest to me because it concerns the number one question of humanity. Why are we here? I began thinking about life one day, stimulated as could be and I started to wonder" why the f#ck am I here? Why does your so called God/god put you on this planet? I don"t care how many gods or how you have to pray, I want to know why. Because I"ve seen some of "god"s creations" and I have to say I"m not impressed. Like seriously that"s the sperm you chose to win? I get that he made us all equal and we all have the option to do good or bad but again" why? Like are we god"s entertainment? Does he have to keep up with his daily gossip? Then he puts out the Ten Commandments as basically "Gods rules." Which actually are some pretty good ideas but as we all know don"t work in today"s society. So then I guess Hell is the answer right? So is life a game for heaven and hell, which can influence the other? Good religions and bad religions? Is hell a tool for God to threaten you with? If heaven is so great why can"t we go straight there? Therefore there must be something here that God wants us to find. Are we pons in his master plan? Why do I dream? " Ok I"m done

Hmmm ... I guess we are here to ask just such questions.

We are the way the universe is becoming aware of itself; like individual cells within the Cosmic Brain.

Asking those questions is just part of our nature as human beings, but unfortunately, it's also part of our nature as human beings that we probably aren't going to get answers to them. We'll either make the answers up for ourselves (and maybe that's part of the universe understanding itself, too) or we'll get tired of seeking the answers and find some other way to be who we are, or I guess we'll just keep asking until we die.

I like contemplating these kinds of questions, so I'll keep with them, but I also have come to accept that I will very likely never find "the answer". So I ask them mostly for fun, now, and not in frustrated earnestness as I once did.

Life is wonderful, and for me, the questions are part of what makes living as a human being so much fun. I'm actually grateful for my ignorance. If I had all the answers, life would lose it's great mystery.

Jonathan Edwards wrote a dissertation (about 50 pages) answering this question:

"Not to know of what things one should demand demonstration, and of what one should not, argues want of education." ~Aristotle

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." ~Aristotle

According to Islam:

God created us to worship him.
He gave us free will and sent messengers to invite us to worship him.He created Heaven and Hell to reward his slaves, his good slaves and destroy the evil ones.

Sounds like an egotistical psychopath.
