I believe these 3 passages to be pivotal to the practice of Christ's teachings

Matthew 7:1-12 "Stop judging that YOU may not be judged; 2 for with what judgment YOU are judging, YOU will be judged; and with the measure that YOU are measuring out, they will measure out to YOU. 3 Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother"s eye, but do not consider the rafter in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, "Allow me to extract the straw from your eye"; when, look! a rafter is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First extract the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to extract the straw from your brother"s eye.

6 "Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw YOUR pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip YOU open.

7 "Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on
knocking, and it will be opened to YOU. 8 For everyone asking receives, and everyone seeking finds, and to everyone knocking it will be opened. 9 Indeed, who is the man among YOU whom his son asks for bread"he will not hand him a stone, will he? 10 Or, perhaps, he will ask for a fish"he will not hand him a serpent, will he? 11 Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will YOUR Father who is in the heavens give good things to those asking him?

12 "All things, therefore, that YOU want men to do to YOU, YOU also must likewise do to them; this, in fact, is what the Law and the Prophets mean.

Jesus here is warning us about being overly judgemental, wasting our time with fruitless argument which might even weaken our own faith, encouraging us to trust in his father for any spiritual help we need, telling us that the whole of Gods law is either fulfilled or broken in the way we treat others.

James 1:5-8 So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him. 6 But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. 7 In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Jehovah; 8 he is an indecisive man, unsteady in all his ways.

James is underlining Christ's message of trust in God and Christ, that they will do what they promise, however if you do not trust them fully you will get nothing. God has done more than enough to prove his reliability, it is up to us to accept that. A|ffter all, it is all laid out for us to read in scripture.

John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

No-one who does not make the effort to understand how God and Christ think and work will ever understand the truth of scripture.

Trinitarians. If holy spirit really was a sentient part of a trinity would Jesus not have included it in this command?

Think carefully about these passages, and in fact the whole of James' letter, it is invaluable to those of us wishing to follow Christ.

You Christians haven't obeyed God's commandments since man existed. Why do you think you're called sinners?

We saints judge all things because we are the law.

1 Corinthians 2
10: God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
11: For what person knows a man's thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12: Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.
13: And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.
14: The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. ( an unspiritual man is a sinner who is not a chosen servant of God's )
15: The spiritual man judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. ( Spiritual men are saints who are made sinless and will obey God's commandments forever and ever.)
16: "For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ

Daniel 7
25: He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time.
26: But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end.
27: And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.'

Jeremiah 15:
15: Behold, I am bringing upon you a nation from afar, O house of Israel, says the LORD. It is an enduring nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.

Only us saints have the mind of Christ to know that Christians are sinners who have no authority to judge anyone. When they judge another sinner, they are disobeying God's commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor". That's because they don't know who our Creator is and that He created everything, including the "veil" that blocks all sinners from the knowledge of God, the knowledge that lets us saints know that we're created as the laws of God, which is the invisible "Word of God", or "Christ".

Lol.

You're as blind as a bat, just like the Lord told us saints about unbelievers.

2 Corinthians 3;
14: But their minds were hardened; for to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.
15: Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their minds;
16: but when a man turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
17: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18: And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

No man can turn to the Lord on his own. God has chosen all His prophets and saints and believers long before this world existed.

John 15
18: "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
19: If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
25: It is to fulfil the word that is written in their law, `They hated me without a cause.

Jeremiah 6
10: To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn, they take no pleasure in it.

Jeremiah 6
10: To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn, they take no pleasure in it.

Why are you asking a sinner about scriptures he can't possibly understand?

knocking, and it will be opened to YOU.

I don't think I fully understand verse 6. How do you interpret that?

I hope that helps.

Liars use lies to explain their false interpretations of the scriptures.

Liars hate these scriptures and will use any excuse to believe them as coming from the Christ that they have no idea about.

1 John 2:
4: He who says "I know him" but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

1 John 3:
4: Every one who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

6: No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him.

8: He who commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

Every sinner who thinks they know God uses these scriptures as excuses to keep sinning;

1 John 1:
7: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
8: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10: If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

But they always forget to use verse 9, which shows God's saints are cleansed from all unrighteousness during this age so they can be totally obedient to God and speak for Him. This means that we saints always obey God's commandments once we're born again into the Kingdom of God, which is Christ, our created existence.

I don't, but I also recognise that verse 9 refers only to past unrighteousness not any future unrighteous acts we may commit. Contest makes that very clear.

Having had a cleansing "bath" we are still going to get dirty if we roll in the mire of this world, and we are not immune to Satan's temptations.

This fool believes a man can find the Truth by reading words in a book. The Truth has fooled all His people except His saints who He uses to reveal Himself and His plans.

However, He also created believers to listen to Him through our gospel but that doesn't mean they have the Truth to know things. It only means they believe, which gives them hope of the future that us saints know for sure about.

LOL. If you're asking a question, it means you have doubts about something.

No, it just means you want to know the answer. Besides whihc James is not talking about asking a question, but making a request for wisdom, whihc anyone with a fully working but human brian, or brain even, knows we have far too little of, and knowing you'll get it if.

If so the answer is simple.

What is holy, is scriptural truth.

The pearls are pearls of Godly wisdom which are hard earned.

Dogs and swine were unclean animals as are all those who oppose God.

If one gets too deeply involved in fruitless discussion with those who are violently opposed to the true teachings from the bible they can "rip you open" in that you may even lose your own faith.

I hope that helps.

What is holy is invisible to man's eyes you idiot.

That's strange, I can see God's word written in a number of books on my bookshelf. So it can't be invisible.

The Word of God is invisible and will always be invisible to man. Everything that's spoken through a prophet or saint is only a testimony of Christ, like a painter's paintbrush stroke on a painting that is visible to the eyes of man. No man can see the image in the mind of a painter before He paints it, just like no man can see the image of Christ in the mind of God until it's revealed as life experiences, whether it's spoken, written, smelled, tasted, touched or felt with emotions. Our experiences are only testimonies of the invisible Christ.

God made stupid foolish people out of Lucifer, where all flesh of man comes from but will all perish by the end of this age. This means you unbelievers won't exist anymore but your spirit ( information in Christ that makes up all God's living beings ) will go on to the next age where you'll awaken in two bodies of flesh, one male and one female, to be partners for eternity.

Psalm 92
5: How great are thy works, O LORD! Thy thoughts are very deep!
6: The dull man cannot know, the stupid cannot understand this:

Exodus 4:
10: But Moses said to the LORD, "Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either heretofore or since thou hast spoken to thy servant; but I am slow of speech and of tongue."
11: Then the LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?
12: Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak."

Christ never dies but God's planned deception in Lucifer and the beast will end on the "Last Day" of this age when everything is destroyed by the fire of God, which is information designed to change all the false information that made this false world we live in today.

All God's people will be forgiven and forget everything that happened to them during this age according to His prophecy in Isaiah;

Isaiah 65
16: So that he who blesses himself in the land shall bless himself by the God of truth, and he who takes an oath in the land shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten and are hid from my eyes.
17: "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.
18: But be glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19: I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress.

You do God a severe injustice saying he is a deceiver. There is only one that is and he is using you to spread his lies about god. Wake up and realise how fully you are being deceived.

However you will have to loose the pride that Satan is so easily able to use first.

Every one of those passages are amongst the sources for the words of the so called NT, especially Revelation. you destroy your own case by referring to them.

The passage is little more than poisoning the well. It completely eliminates, at the root, the possibility that you can ever be wrong. If you haven't found the answer, it's not because it isn't there, it's because you haven't looked hard enough! Rather than addressing the subject as one that can be objectively debated, it simply makes it turns it around into the fault of the person who comes to the wrong conclusion.

The resemblance to similar mottoes in such scammy endevours as Multi-Level Marketing schemes (if you haven't earned any profit, you're not trying hard enough!) or New Age Woo (if you haven't healed yourself, you are thinking positively enough!) is fitting, I think.

On the flip-side, it is ego stroking for people who already believed, assuring them that they've tried hard enough and got their reward and people that argue against them simply haven't tried hard enough.

When God abides by this, I will.

Better start now then because he always has.

Really? God isn't going to judge me? Whew!

That is not an attempt tp get them to change their minds, only they can do that anyway, it is a warning to stop waiting time and putting your own spirituality in danger.

How is your spirituality "in danger?"

7 "Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on

Because you're good enough, you're smart enough, and GOSH DARN IT, people like you!

Not quite what it means, lol, no.

12 "All things, therefore, that YOU want men to do to YOU, YOU also must likewise do to them; this, in fact, is what the Law and the Prophets mean.

I guess that doesn't apply to this man:
http://gawker.com...

I don't know, but probably not. I didn't check the link, the title was bad enough.

Really? I didn't see an exception for such people. Is it in a different verse? Thou shalt not stick eating utensils in thy urethra?

James 1:5-8 So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him. 6 But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. 7 In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Jehovah; 8 he is an indecisive man, unsteady in all his ways.

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wise people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

Which just proves scripture right when it says:

1 Corinthians 3:19, 20 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written: "He catches the wise in their own cunning." 20 And again: "Jehovah knows that the reasonings of the wise men are futile."

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers, that not many wise in a fleshly way were called, not many powerful, not many of noble birth; 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are, 29 in order that no flesh might boast in the sight of God. 30 But it is due to him that YOU are in union with Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God, also righteousness and sanctification and release by ransom; 31 that it may be just as it is written: "He that boasts, let him boast in Jehovah."

Afraid of being thought a fool by the world? Afraid of being thought of as one of the above?

Then forget any ideas of being Christian because you will be seen as all those things and more, and they will all be true.

Afraid of having to admit that the knowledge and understanding that you have comes from God not from you?

Then forget getting any help from God because all glory must, quite rightly, go to him, as Moses found out to his cost.

Whatever will we do?
I know.
Lets wait till 1914 when they will all be killed and the 23 of us will be saved.
Hoorah, for us.

1914 is long gone, and was exactly what those who recognised it said it was. OK not everything they expected to follow on from it has happened yet, but it will, and you will regret such foolish words.

I've already told you that us saints know the difference between the religious ideas the Romans added to the new testament and the pieces of knowledge that comes from the true Christ that they left for God to use in my testimonies. I'm not deceived by your lies about what I know.

Our invisible Creator kept Himself hidden from man and will always be invisible to us, even though we saints know Him within our mind, which is the mind of God where we all exist.

Genesis 3
23: therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
24: He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

God needed this first age to teach us how we were created and exist within His mind. God used His servant ( Holy Spirit, Christ, Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven, Light, Eternal Life, Son of God, Zion, Jacob, etc. ) in the flesh of His prophets and saints to teach us about His eternal plan.

Since we're all created invisible wavelengths of energy called Christ or invisible wavelengths of energy called Lucifer, we are all created by the ONE CREATOR, not two creators or three like the one's Christians believe in called the trinity.

If you believe there is a being called satan, then you have to believe there were two creators and that's a big lie.

Isaiah 44
6: Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.
24: Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens alone, who spread out the earth -- Who was with me? --

Isaiah 45
5: I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I gird you, though you do not know me,
6: that men may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the LORD, and there is no other.
7: I form light and create darkness, I make weal and create woe, I am the LORD, who do all these things.

Deuteronomy 32
39: "`See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

You sinners do NOT know Him because He hid from all His people during this age but He drew His servant, Christ, out of the flesh of HIs prophets and saints to reveal HIs eternal plan and let us know who we are as invisible energy. Not even the scientists understand the deeper meaning of energy yet that us saints understand as God's spoken Word.

I don't think I fully understand verse 6. How do you interpret that?

Do you mean Matthjew 7:6?

If so the answer is simple.

What is holy, is scriptural truth.

The pearls are pearls of Godly wisdom which are hard earned.

Dogs and swine were unclean animals as are all those who oppose God.

If one gets too deeply involved in fruitless discussion with those who are violently opposed to the true teachings from the bible they can "rip you open" in that you may even lose your own faith.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, it does. Since it is metaphor, I have heard others interpret it different with a more of a negative connotation towards non-believers. I think the manner which you interpret it is true to the message, all though I disagree with the sentiment.

It seems to me the truth should be able to withstand the rigors of open debate and it seems to go against the other messages of evangelism. On the other hand i have seen people loose faith when they begin to question scriptures in a way they have not previously considered.

The truth can and will withstand the rigours of any test.

However we are up against two things, which a study of scripture will reveal all too easily.

We are up against, above all, the intentions of a powerful opponent who has the power to influences man's mind and leave us thinking that the ideas are our own.

He is also more than capable of working on our weaknesses especially pride, and can manipulate us all to easily.

That is why so many are in confusion ,even if they don't realise it.

It is also the reason that we can only understand the truth if God wants us to, and he will only want us to if, unlike Adam, we are prepared to rely on him 100% for protection and guidance through his word.

However, as James says at James 1:5-8, if we ask in full faith that he will keep his promise he will do so, though in his own time not ours.

It took him more than 20 years to answer my prayers but then he knows far better than we do when we are ready to take the information and use it.

Everything happens in his time, not ours.

The provision is there for all who wish to take advantage, but if we doon;t fit within the requirements set out in John 4:23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. as well as those in 1 Corinthians 1:26-30 For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers, that not many wise in a fleshly way were called, not many powerful, not many of noble birth; 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are, 29 in order that no flesh might boast in the sight of God. 30 But it is due to him that YOU are in union with Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God, also righteousness and sanctification and release by ransom;

If you don't meet those criteria, you won't get help.

Why?

because these are not easy times, and God knows we need to be humble enough to realise where the help comes from and give him the credit not take it to ourselves.

He also needs people who are prepared to put themselves out a long way for him and for our fellow man, as his son did.

After all, as Jesus said the most importance commands are:

Matthew 22:34-40 After the Pharisees heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they came together in one group. 35 And one of them, versed in the Law, asked, testing him: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 He said to him: ""You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind." 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this, "You must love your neighbor as yourself." 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets."

As Jesus points out, if you obey those two commands you have fulfilled the spirit of teh whole of the law and the prophets.

All I ask is that you think carefully about it, and if you wish pray for guidance to

Adam and Eve blamed Satan ( the serpent ) for their disobedience, too, just like you're doing here in this comment.

All you have to do is start obeying the Voice of God but I know this is impossible for sinners like yourself.
