I know it's an old debate, but I just got into an argument with some idiot online about it.

That's very hard to answer, cause in a debate the question is what determines who "won".

Some say well who ever was more persuasive, but you can be more persuasive using all the tricks in the trade, logical fallacies, unstated premises, appeal to emotion etc etc.

So rather than declare a winner cause I think they both bought up good points against the others position I recall what I consider the things that stand out for me those being....

Craig arguing that well being is not necessarily the same as moral good to object to Harris view that well being is one and the same as a moral good.

Harris showing the rationalizations that people tell themselves to reconcile their religious beliefs to evidence.

Harris pointing out that Divine Command Theory is what the terrorists use too. DCT doesn't allow for well being to be relevant to moral value. Craig and terrorist are both DCT's they just disagree on what exactly those commands are.
