The Bible says that the Israelites left Egypt, wandered in the desert for 40 years, then invaded Canaan. The archaeological record contradicts this.

Israelite camps from that time period show no traces of Egyptian culture (which would be unavoidable after a few hundred years of living there), and the only way to distinguish them from Canaanite settlements is the lack of pig bones. Their religious artifacts from the time portray the Canaanite version of El and his wife Asherah. Yahweh was merged with, or replaced, El at a later point and was still worshiped alongside Asherah for several hundred years.

Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

Wikipedia is more accurate than a blog, news article or documentary because it's peer reviewed and can be edited by anybody, meaning that false or unconfirmed information is more likely to be corrected. The only source that trumps Wikipedia is a journal article, and those are a pain to cite.
