"Religion is meant to provide a link between God and Man, and between Man and Man. But when the emphasis is put on rites and rituals or conformity and conduct, rather than GOD and HIS LOVE, then religion becomes a HINDRANCE between God and Man and a WALL between Man and Man."

I know that the grammar isn't perfect; the man who wrote it (a Sikh reformer named Jaswant Singh who went by the pen name of Khoji) was born in India and only started learning English at age 72.

Religion was created by God to keep His people deceived from who they really are within His mind as His thoughts. The world we see, taste, smell and touch is but a dream but religious people believe that their flesh and this world is real.
