Why do "christians" go to church on sunday vs the sabbath?
Do they actually read the bible or just hear what others say?

It got changed a long time ago. I'm not completely sure why, probably something to do with Jesus being resurrected on Sunday.

But he wasnt resurrected on sunday he was resurrected on the sabbath (Saturday) basic math tells everyone that. he died in the midst of the week (wed.) And three days three nights from wed. Is the sabbath.

If he had died on Wednesday he would have risen on Friday (the day he died on counts as one of the 3 days) But I am fairly sure he died on Friday. The sequence of events that I am aware of is that he came to Jerusalem on Sunday, spent Monday to Wednesday annoying loads of people, got arrested on Thursday then died on Friday and rose on Sunday.

You are not counting three days and three nights as it states in Matthew 12:40 and in thr book of daniel he prophesied Christ would die in the midst of the week says daniel 9:26-27 you have to do the math and on a seven day peri Wednesday is the middle oftheweek.

Maybe because we're not Jewish... Christ was risen Easter Sunday, hence we worship on Sunday.

No. You asserted it, you didn't prove it. The same as I did.

I'll leave you to provide something a little more concrete for me to rebut.

Do the math for yourself and read the scriptures for yourself the scriptures are Matthew 12:40 and Daniel 9:26-27 it states he will be in the earth three days and three nights. You say he died Good Friday and rose early Sunday. It does not add up to three days and three nights at all. How are you counting?

yeah ok "For as" = "like" some christains say that its fulfills what jesus said.. so when they see the mistake about the time they claim that when jesus said "for as jonah was" he intented "how jonah was.." so if u check how jonah was for 3 days and nights he was alive "from the book of jonah" and jesus was dead... so its not fulfilling that too...

1. The biblical jebus is a Historical MYTH!

2. However the biblical jebus was resurrected early Sunday morning!

The Jewish Sabbath is our Saturday!

Thus the First Day of the Jewish Week was our Sunday -

1 " And the SABBATH being past, Mary of MAGDALA, and THAT Mary the mother of JAMES, and Salome, " bought Aromatics, that they might come and anoint him. 2 And very early on the *first day of the WEEK, (about sunrise,) they came to the TOMB (Mark 16:1-2) EMPHATIC DIAGLOTT NT Interlinear.

&

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. (Mark 16:1-2) ESV Story book

The women came early the next morning (Sunday) AFTER the Sabbath had passed. (Saturday) to anoint the body which wasn't to be found!

If you count backwards from Sunday, before dawn, to Wednesday 3 PM, you get four nights and four days. If you count backwards to Friday you only get two nights and two days. Thursday is the only combination that produces three days and three nights.

Even if he is a historical myth the scriptures you are citing say that Mary came early morning Sunday and which the sabbath had already past. Now think about this early in the morning even before the sun has even rose the stone was already gone which means he left in the end of the sabbath before the next day. Now read carefully what this verse says "in THE END of the sabbath as it BEGAN to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary magdalen and the other Mary to see the sepulchre" Matthew 28:1 KJV

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 each day is 2 halves now in Daniel it states Christ will be cut off in the midst of the week now let's count three days three nights from Wednesday morning Wednesday night Thursday morning that's one day Thursday night day Friday morning that's two days Friday night Saturday morning and that will make it three days and three nights.

Why do "christians" go to church on sunday vs the sabbath?
Do they actually read the bible or just hear what others say?

Maybe because we're not Jewish... Christ was risen Easter Sunday, hence we worship on Sunday.

He was risen Saturday night I just proved that in my earlier post.

No. You asserted it, you didn't prove it. The same as I did.

I'll leave you to provide something a little more concrete for me to rebut.

Thank you for you discussion.

In the end, does it really matter what day they worship the flying spaghetti monster?
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. (Mark 16:1-2) ESV Story book
