Anyone want to debate me on whether or not God is a good place to derive moral values and ethics from?

PM me the parameters of the debate, we can argue and agree over them, then I will set up the debate.

I'd be open to a debate~

I'd like to know your stance on the issue before we begin, though.

Well I would be for the idea that we can derive our moral values and ethical behaviour from God.

Which god?

The Judeo-Christian God, as defined in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Can we use the Bible (KJV, preferably) to define this god?

Sure. I define God using the Bible as well as the dictionary, the dictionary definition is just the simpler one, but we can use whatever source everyone finds easiest to use to define him.

Fair enough!
We can sort out the details over PM, if there's no other questions. It seems I'm unable to message you, however.

The Judeo-Christian God, as defined in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Do you mean the god of Abraham that the Jews worshiped or the false god named Jesus that Christians worship? How about the invisible Creator that I speak for? Do you want to know about Him? I can tell you all about Him and the way He created us. I can also tell you about the past, present and future when we awaken in the New Heaven and Earth after this world is destroyed by Him.
