I happened across this website today, and I'm not sure if I should feel offended at this obvious mockery of religion.

http://sinabsolver.com...

What are the thoughts of others on this subject?

Whoever created it 'claims' to offer a service to absolve one of sins. I understand humor, not when religion is regarded however.

I wouldn't worry too much, the mocker often reveals more about himself than they do they object of their mockery.

This reveals ignorance of religious claims, and leaves unaddressed how people handle the reality of their human failings.

Mocking doesn't help - and I would wager the author if the site would appreciate being mocked? I wonder how he would respond to a web site that was about absolving stupid web sites? As in, "So, you created a BS web site that needless offended people and failed miserable at humor ... press here for absolution, as I am sure the offended people will just forget now."

For some reason, I am sure that would not be appreciated.

Deliberately offending people rarely turns out well, and those who do it? Its tells us far more about them than it does anything else.

Hurting people's feelings has become a trend nowadays, especially to insult and mock what is sacred to them, but this is low and empty it shows more about the person itself than it says anything about the cause.
There is a whole different world right before our eyes, yet we fail to see it.
