The tale of a lone fuk. Once upon a time there was a small fairy, his name was bobo. Bobo often sought all all the worlds religions but they confused him. He had no idea what to believe. He tried Christianity but it was to strict, he tried Islam but they kept killing themselves, and even tried judasim but he could not make any money.

One day Bobo went to the tower of mada. There he found a religion called fukit. Bobo finally in response to every religion adopted fukit as his primary belief.

Then he rolled up a joint and celebrated 4/20 and lived happily ever after. The end.

After hearing this, I suddenly have a strong desire to club a baby seal.

Aren't fairy-tales wonderful? Too bad they only exist in stories. :-/

Sounds like Mormonism.

Actually I get Mikals point, but I always wonder,.....why He had no idea what to believe? The idea behind this post is that we cannot find out truth if there are opposing claims. That is self-evidently wrong. But notice what Bobo says,

He tried Christianity but it was to strict, he tried Islam but they kept killing themselves, and even tried judasim but he could not make any money

He isn't looking for truth, he's looking for pleasure. He wants truth to conform to what he desires.

I have never understood why the fact that there are opposing claims would make a person believe he cannot find the truth and give up! But speak to any atheist here and he will immediately bring up the fact that other people have different claims. So what? What he wants from that is to be able to give up without having seemed to give up. He has no love for the truth and thus there is nothing enticing him to seek the truth through the opposing claims.

The Bible talks about people who do not have a "love of the truth". I think that is true in this case. These people do not want to find the truth, and thus use the opposing claims to trow up their hand and quit the search.
