I'm amazed! I checked out your link and found the other link to 'seeing without your glasses'. I took off my glasses and it actually worked!

Try it!

Can we put this one with all of the other Noah's Arks that people have found?

Scientific testing can't determine historical accuracy.

You know, except that it can in situations like this one. Besides, the other way we have to determine history is scholarship is history work, both of which say the flood did not happen.

Frankly I doubt if it will prove to be Noah's Ark.

It has been "found" many times before and every time it has proved to be a hoax.

One problem is that everyone is looking for something shaped like what we think of as a boat, but who says it has that kind of shape anyway.

The construction guidelines describe it as an absolutely massive Chest (or Ark) and it wasn't needed to go anywhere, just float.

It didn't need to come to land anywhere in particular, the whole of the exposed earth, once it had risen above the level of the waters would have been somewhat waterlogged, and only the hardiest vegetation would have survived the results of that calamity, which would have been massive.

Don;t forget that what started as rain ended as a deluge, millions of tonnes of water simply falling on the earth, from high in the atmosphere, much of it certainty as hail and or snow with all the climatic effects such an event would have had.

Has anyone experienced such an event, on a small scale? I have.

In November 2005 Truro in Cornwall, and the area for miles around it was brought to a standstill for over a day in some cases by what started as an extremely heavy hailstorm but then turned into snow. I was one of those stuck in a traffic jam for hours.

Within minutes the roads were treacherous, covered in ice at least 5cm deep, and it got worse.

The only report I can find offhand is actually from Bodmin but covers much of the Cornwall area.

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk...

The effects of the deluge would have been thousands of times worse than that, and absolutely global, and would have ushered in an Ice Age over the Northern and Southern hemispheres, most likely covering much of Europe. Only 10 or 20 degrees of Latitude either side of the equator would have been unfrozen.

Frankly if they ever find Noah's Ark I suspect they will simply think of it as a very large shed.

Was it the Ark? Does it really matter? If it is the Ark, does this change anything? If it is not the Ark, does this change anything? The story of Noah's Ark is not about an Ark any more than Moby Dick is about a whale.

How about we just agree its a really old boat and its a pretty cool discovery. Anything more is just speculation

Previously offered and debunked. Are you even remotely aware that we have, today, luxury liner cruise ships larger than this, and that even those could not fit every species on earth?

Fail.
