Since omniscience would mean "all knowing", or knowing everything that can be possibly known, it would be all the knowledge there is, not all the knowledge there isn't. He could plan things and know everything which is possible to know, but his plans could still be subject to unforseen outside circumstances since it is logically impossible to know the exact future. This doesn't conflict with God's omnipotence, either; since omnipotence also means all the power that is, not all that isn't, or to put it simply, all that is logically possible. Clearly, he would possess vast knowledge, more than we can ever hope for as humans; but the thing is that God's free will, omniscience, and future events would not conflict as far as divine plans go; so free will wouldn't be impossible or logically absurd for us, either.

Logic wasn't invented by God. Like time itself, it is only a unit of measurement . In this case, it's simply a way to figure out how things work around us. Logic isn't a physical object.
