HEAVEN IS HOTTER THAN HELL

The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads,

Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days.
Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (forty nine) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation
(H/E)4 = 50

where E is the absolute temperature of the earth, 300"K (273+27). This gives H the absolute temperature of heaven, as 798" absolute (525"C).

The exact temperature of hell cannot be computed but it must be less than 444.6"C, the temperature at which brimstone or sulfur changes from a liquid to a gas. Revelations 21:8: But the fearful and unbelieving ... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." A lake of molten brimstone [sulfur] means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, which is 444.6"C. (Above that point, it would be a vapor, not a lake.)

We have then, temperature of heaven, 525"C. Temperature of hell, less than 445"C. Therefore heaven is hotter than hell.

1. Different Heavens:
Assuming the heaven spoke of in Isaiah 30:26 is the same Heaven God resides in this may be true. The Hebrews thought there were multiple heavens. In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth. But then latter it says he divided the water above and below to make a firmament that he expanded to make the celestial heavens. Where God put the stars, sun and moon into. So from the first few verse of the bible we already have 2 heavens.

This is not so weird to think about. Universe originally meant this galaxy. It was all any one knew. Then when other galaxies were discovered there was even a short debate if those were other universes. Universes with different laws and such. Science has an axiom that was is true in this part of the universe is true for all parts. So Hubble's discoveries lead to the universe as being seen 100 times bigger.

Black Body Radiation
Even if we conclude that the heaven God resides in is the same heaven that the sun and moon reside you still may be wrong. The temperature of space in around earth can remain constant and the radiation be emitted as a black body radiation, in fact it is this radiation the can be emitted in a local area that could account for why Hell is reaching temperatures of 445 degrees.

Verse misconstrued.

The verse must be read in context. I won't get into a whole page of the chapter the verse is taken from but lets look at the previous verse:
"On every high mountain and every high hill there will be streams flowing with water, at the time of great slaughter when the fortified towers collapse."

At the time of great slaughter... the Isiah Verse... and the verse after words:

"Look, the name of the Lord comes from a distant place in raging anger and awesome splendor. He speaks angrily and his word is like destructive fire."

So this verse is talking about an event. The event of God's wrath being poured out onto the world. Notice where it says the like the light of seven days. In Jewish understanding this meant the sun and moon will be brighter as a warning of the impending judgement to come. The equate this with a the days of Noah. That the sun and moon were brighter 7 days before the flood. In Genesis 7:4 Noah and his family entered the ark seven days before the flood waters came. Jewish tradition says that Noah saw the increase in light and hunkered down in the bunker, like a siren before an air attack. And 7 days of this light ended then the flood.

So this verse in Isaiah has historically been read as the sign of the next judgment. Not as a description of heaven (the abode of God).

That is unsurprising given that hell has been conclusively proven to be exothermic (I.e. It expels it's heat):

It's rather counterintuitive, but a rapidly expanding 'cold heaven' actually can have more heat energy than a slower/non expanding 'hot hell'

LOL that's funny but you missed a point. But his conclusion for picking between exo or endothermic was finally decided by one factor, " If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic."

So his reasoning can only be verified by multiple repeated attempts to sleep with Theresa Manyan.

I don"t think spiritual heaven is same as you think. However, if we think heaven is the atmosphere or space, what do you think, is space or upper atmosphere cold, even when the sun shines? I think it is really cold if we go for example to flight altitude.

Heaven is hotter than hell if you believe what most people understand about hell. You know, burn for ever and ever, without end, Not enough to burn them up. But if you look at Malachi, that fire, burns them up, not forever. Ashes under the soles of the feet.
