It was through birth. I came up believing what my parents believed, which is pretty common. It wasn't until I was 33-years old that I started asking some serious questions. Looking back, I can recall feeling guilty about it. Most of us are taught that God wants us to believe devoutly, and without question. Once I got past the guilt part, I found the pieces began to fall into place rather rapidly. And none of the way reality falls into place really supports religion. I've been an atheist ever since.
