John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The author of John attributed the above words to the character Jesus in his story.

The interesting thing about this story is that the character Jesus was speaking to the religious believers in God when he told them their father was the devil. He was not speaking to people who were atheists or unbelievers in a God.

If Christians believe Jesus words are always true and apply to all people for all eternity, then the father of all religious people is the devil. It is the religious who are deceived and led astray by their "angels of light", false prophets and traditions.

It is the religious who receive the warnings to watch out for false prophets who parade as ministers of righteousness. ( 2 Cor 11: 14-15 )

It is the religious who are told to stop sinning. (Rom 6:1-23)

Those letters were apparently sent to churches not to unbelievers.

Unbelievers in God have no prophets trying to tell them they are going to be resurrected from the dead one day and get a new body after they die and then live happily ever after in some paradise called heaven.

Think about that before any of you believers decide to condemn unbelievers in God as being from the devil.
Remember Jesus did not tell unbelievers their father was the devil. He said that to believers about their father. If you wish to say the same as Jesus did you also need to tell believers in God that their father is the devil.

Just because someone says they believe in God, it does not mean they do.

The Pharisees and teachers of the law did not know God, if they had known God, they would not have rejected Jesus.

It's still the same in any religion today. The religious think they know God but they don't have a clue. They like to put on a "holier than thou act" and want to believe they are better, smarter, more spiritual, than anyone who does not believe in their invisible supernatural entity.
Many religious people reject Jesus every day.
They call him Lord and still don't know him.
They are workers of iniquity.

Matt 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You have absolutely no knowledge of God to interpret any of the scriptures or prophecies. You are so far from the Truth that you cannot understand what God used His saints and prophets for.

You definitely are not a chosen saint or prophet.

Truth is a blanket statement which applies to all who decide to wear the cap.

I have no desire to be any kind of chosen saint of prophet Brad. There are already too many false prophets like you in this world. A self proclaimed saint or prophet is not a saint or prophet at all.

Matt 42:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

You are just one of them Brad. When February comes you can repent of your lies and admit you are not the voice of anything but your own delusions.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

You Brad do nothing but talk about yourself and what a great prophet and saint you are. You try to convince others that you are somehow chosen and superior to other people. If you were of God you would not talk about yourself or refer to yourself as a saint or prophet or anything special at all.

You are of your father the devil.

They take the name of the Lord in vain. They call Jesus Lord and don't do as he says.

You Brad do nothing but talk about yourself and what a great prophet and saint you are. You try to convince others that you are somehow chosen and superior to other people. If you were of God you would not talk about yourself or refer to yourself as a saint or prophet or anything special at all.

You are of your father the devil.

I know for a fact that you're not one of God's chosen saints or prophets. That's why you don't have any knowledge to interpret what us saints and prophets testified to. By trying to teach knowledge that only us saints would know, you are called a false prophet. False prophets are liars and not to be trusted.

It's very easy for a liar to call God's saints and prophets liars.

Jesus does not know them because they did not repent of their sins.

The Pharisees and teachers of the law are the only people who did not repent.

Jesus does not know them because they did not repent of their sins.

Really? Why would anyone call Jesus Lord if they had not accepted him and repented of their sins like is the custom in Christianity?
Those who call Jesus Lord have gone through the motions of repentance even though most Christians still continue to sin after repenting of their sins and after being baptized in water as a symbol of their death to sin anyway.
They just continue in sin so grace may abound and hold on to the pathetic excuse that they are imperfect and cannot help themselves.

The Pharisees and teachers of the law are the only people who did not repent.

The religious leaders who claim to believe in God are following the devil and teaching false doctrines to their congregations. They do it in ignorance but they still do it. They think they are doing the right thing but they are actually doing the wrong thing by condemning those who they perceive as being of the devil in the same way the Pharisees condemned Jesus.

However, the one who the religious perceived as being evil forgave the religious for their foolishness and stupidity because he knew they had no clue what they doing. He knew they were deceiving themselves. He knew they were the blind leading the blind and were unaware of their own blindness.

The same principle applies today. People who understand that the self deceived have no clue they are self deceived will forgive them for their blindness, foolishness, false accusations etc.

LOL, What exactly do you think I am denying about you Brad?
You are alive now and you will still be alive in February.
If you want to deny that , go ahead and deny yourself but you are the one who claims you will be killed.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning

Deut 32:39
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

God is saying there is no other god with him. He alone is the one who kills.
He is not saying any devil kills anyone or anything.
Any devil would need to be another god, another supernatural entity, yet according to God there are no other gods.

Isaiah 44:8 ............... Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

God alone does everything.
If God kills and also causes things to live and no other supernatural entities or gods exist. then God alone is the murderer and destroyer as well as the life giver.

Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created....

That makes God a murderer.

Num 35:30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses:

Col. 1:16-17 reconfirms Story book god is responsible for creating and sustaining absolutely everything, that includes all the nasties, evil etc.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Col. 1:16-17) KJV Story book

Yet others try to blame their Satan for doing nasties but even IF it were to exist as they claim, it would only be doing what it was Created to do!
